if you can find or have a look at the service history - price is pretty reasonable if it lives up to what the owner says
just double check there are no encumberances that come with the car - either a REVS check or get the vin & engine number and email Honda Australia for clarification..
thers a slight mis-alignment with the front and rear bar..
driver door looks abit mismatched too..
but yeah just check out the car and drive it..
if your not sure bring a friend or a mechanic
wassup with yellow Type-Rs these days....I agree with 1900-Hustler....good to play it safe...dont rush..
pretty sure this was for sale at a dealership for about 14k 3 months ago...
looks mad
yea saw this 2 months ago on carsales for 14k
yeah, thast what i thought. saw it on dealership too..
it had a number plate, crazyR or something.
seems dodgy
ty for for help guys
Take a mechanic and get it checked out..
Everything these days is apparently dodgy.
Only thing thats weird is there aint yellow recaros :S
Hmm also the leather where the gearknob is, doesnt have red stitching so maybe thats been changed
^ wrong... they didnt come with red stitching here
Wait what... it's just a stock Type R? What's so amazing about it?
dont even bother with it.........
my mate went to look at it a month a go or so to buy.... its been written off due to seats being stolen only..... at least thats what he tried telling my mate, (he forgot to mention the fresh front end re-spray and repairs)
notice the front bar not lining up with the guard......i didnt see this car personally, but my mate didnt buy it.....so mustn't be that good
ahh sweet, cheers for the help

+1 posted on clubitr that car is dodgy.
i looked at this car last year at a melbourne dealership in South Melbourne, car was in a crap condition and the description on car sales from the dealer was misleading. Front bumper has been poorly restored, a deep scratch to the bumper near the left lights was apparent its been repaired poorly. The whole right side of the car has a different shade of yellow which to me has been repainted. Look motor looks fine but get it checked out if you are serious and don't mind the repair history.
I ended up giving up finding a yellow ITR with yellow seats long ago and went with a championship white ITR with red recaros.
Look if your after a nice and well loved DC2R then look at this:
http://firesport.com.au/cheapest-hon...--ad154783.htm
found this on firesport and no I don't know the guy but as you can see its been well loved and plus its a got a JDM ITR engine, being a bayside blue don't cut it for me but do consider it since its cheap.
Cheers
thats on sale here
thanks mate yeah that's my car, yeah its been well looked after by a genuine honda enthusiast, im selling cheap as i have found a new car and im looking for a quick sale.
totally didnkt know there were blue sr3 recaros
i purchased it like that. sleeper? no it hasnt been in any accident.
My mate had also seen that yellow one before.
Don't waste your time
Whats wrong with it? Isnt it a genuine Type R?
lol, stated before tht the recaros were stolen and rear and front bumperd are repaired(poorly)
yeah i asked him about the problems, he just didn't reply
i have hear so many ppl who are selling dc2rs that their recaros were stolen. wth??
i emailed this seller, she provided me VIN and engine number.. everything looks genuine, reports say no finance, or accident history.
^^which seller?
i also saw that yellow R in Narre, the guy is a bit of a lost soul
i didnt do any incumberence or accident history checks, so cant comment on that
paint was not in the best condition, and there were a few plops of bird shit on the car, which is a bit strange for som1 tryng to sell a car
the parcel shelf has this stupid hat on it, and 2 red 6x9 speaker covers, but they are just covers, the 6x9s are not there, the covers are just to hide two big fk off holes in the parcel shelf
the engine seemed to be in good condition, the gearbox and clutch too
the dude said it came with speakers in the add and climate control, when i saw climate control i though wtf integra came with climate control, the car didnt even have air con, i asked the guy where is the air con, he reckons he doesnt know, and im like why does it say climate control on the add
from memory there was also some bs about the steroe, cant remember much tho
black recaros, so another wtf observation
i was considering telling him id take it for 10k just to troll, but i didnt even bother..........
the yellow one from narre. Don't bother with the yellow one for 15k, its a remarkable write off..... I'm selling a red one if interested?????
Ops repaireable not remarkable lol
lol the yellow one in narre isnt ownd by a chick, its a guy, unless i was being conned on that too
hmmm maybe I got mixed up, but that looks genuine...

If you guys looking for a nice yellow DC2R, have a look at this one
lol @ the price
i highly doubt its worth that, but maybe som1 is willing to pay that much..
sex on wheels one of the hottest type rs I have seen... I'd b happy to sell my red itr for that anyday....not for that price tho lol
has anyone been to check out this red type R ?
http://www.carpoint.com.au/all-cars/...s=26&silo=1011
im planning to go in a few days, just wanting to get a heads up because its been for sale for a long time
and yes the price is pretty high .. but none the less maybe hes able to negotiate or something
probably on for so long due to the price and the colour red.
yea man if your interested .. do some research on the car or just go down there with a mechanic and test drive it .. gl man
fair enough...each to their own I guess. Red seems to not have a very good resale value, so I was just curius why chinx_4eva would want to go for the most expensive one on the market.
yea, i personally didn't like the red colour.
the price is set really high but maybe after some negotiating he'll be able to drop the price down :)
i particularly like the sunroof that comes with it, as it was a factory option i assume and many type R's don't have it :(
the colour does look abit faded on the pictures, but all will tell once i get see it
probably tomorrow or in a few days time since i have work off :D
thanks for the comment guys!
