hey guys im looking at getting a xforce twin loop for my eg, just wondering if anyone has had any problems fitting one on an eg because it looks like it hangs low, so can pics be posted up of theres please?

the twin loop is fine, not even the lowest part of the car =D
the twin loop does hang low if you get the Xforce one i have it on my DC2R and it hangs down below the muffler
hmm im also running a rear sway bar, any idea of the clearance?
i got the xforce S12 as well, no issues with clearance at all
do you know is there is any difference size wise between the two? or if there is any difference at ALL??
apparently the S10 is bigger i think and circular shaped whereas the S12 is oval shaped...
Best bet is to pm FEL12X hes known as race nation, hes an authorized dealer for x-force and he should be able to tell you the exact differences

i couldn't fit my s12 like that at all no matter how hard i tried lols, just seemed like the chassis got in the way to be able to show the looped part :(
i purchased one a few days ago, hopefully it arrives soon so i can take it to an exhaust shop and then for sure i will know how it is gonna hang and ill post some pics up.

lol when i went to get my S10 fitted on at a exhaust shop he said no way the barrel can fit cause itll hang to low and it wont fit behind the rear bumper the little gap where the exhaust goes or something like that.
I didn't believe him cause iv seen other Civics have it so i went down to springvale and got it done for $100 cut and welded.
well i got mine on, made it fit perfectly except doesnt sound like anything i was hoping for, all good untill im WOT, then its farty as shit :( devo..
take it back and get them to adjust the exhaust
did u just get the muffler put on - or is it a full catback system?
im getting S12 + 2.25" catback + 2 hotdogs + hi-flow cat - put on today
im hoping the hotdogs will keep it nice and low sound without and fart or rasp - my mechanic will adjust the setup if it sounds shit tho =)

I got my one done i got the oval shaped one fitted on my crx del sol .... sounds clean ...not very loud ..but deep especially when vteck kicks... it does stick out abit...and i have scraped it a lil..but its stainless steel so doesnt really do damage
Im running an xforce S12, no resonator, 2inch catback and mines EXTREMELY quiet until u hit some high rpms then its a nice deep tone hehe

just got a call from my mechanic and hes having some issues fitting my s12 on
if you dont have a swaybar than it will be easy - but i put a 14mm swaybar on my EG Sedan so hes having issues with clearances etc
hes gona put it on a slight angle - and hes only using one resonator - so hopefully it will turn out ok =)
hmm so im guessing youll have a bit more of a problem fitting it with a 22mm swaybar

my 14 mm didnt get in the way at all when he put it on the angle...i think my farty noise is due to my 2.5" piping all the way through...oh well, anyone want a twin loop exhaust..im selling mine
get a resonator put in ... will make a big difference

mines been installed on my EG8 Gli Sedan (see build thread for info)
ebay headers > magnaflow 2.5" hi-flow cat > stainless 2.25" catback > 1 stainless hot-dog resonator > xforce S12 twinloop (prefer S10 - but they are hard to get)
it sits pretty mutch flush with how my stock one was lol - tips a little more beefy and its on like a 10deg angle - but thats it
its second hand - and it sounds a little loud at times - but most of the time its dead quiet - no buzz/fart AT ALL - there is a small vibration in one of the flanges that causes a buzz noise at full wot - but ill get my mechanic to sort it out
one thing i do miss is my induction roar - can hardly hear it over the sound of the exhaust at full wot =(
yea well i got a massive buzz/fart noise when vtec hits at 3800 rpm then after 5k its all VTEC induction noise
stop complaining and take it back to the guys who installed it lol
tell them the problem and tell them to fix it - because a new xforce s12 shouldnt sound like that
what headers and cat are u running?

massive buzz or fart is definitely something gone a miss. we got same engine, same muffler. only difference is headers. i've even heard guys on here running no hotdogs or resonators and the twinloop still sounds pretty good. be it all fecking loud.
Mine's quiet as under 3500rpm (where is spends 90% of its time) and the has a nice note all through the higher vtec ranges. I miss the popping of my old shagged out standard muffler but even the twinloop gives the occasional pop if you back off sharply after WOT
I'm running no resonator and a 2" catback and mines dead quiet under 4k rpms..
mine has a slight rattle in one of the joins - but ill get the mechanic to patch it up
mines actually full stainless and i get the occasional pop from it as well lol it drones a little bit - but most of the time it sounds sweet
