go for an ep3,
i think most people will tell you to go for that,
its the rarest between the three, newer/generally speaking, and better in engine specs and so on on the other 2!

Get a DC2R. The chassis and B-series has a real soul and cult-like appreciation that I don't think is as prominent in other Hondas.

dc2r= too many rattles and noises and its hard to find a good example of one anymore
dc5r+ep3r = most of the parts are interchangeable and being a later model car it doesnt creak and whatnot that the dc2r does.
IMO, if your after something which brings out the race driver in you all 3 of these cars can do it, but the dc2r i think truly is a racecar. The dc5r and ep3 were more "luxury" for me. I was in the exact same position your in and i was leaning towards the dc5r because the ep3 didnt look aggressive enough for me and the dc2r was just too old. So instead i bought an s2000 haha. Non-biased opinion so dont flame me =(
just get the newer car...
Again, go DC2R. Enjoy the rattles mate, it adds character to the car lol
I got lotsa characters with my mounts then haha
dc2r parts are easier come by and cheaper then alot of the k series prices

i had all three of those cars, i regret selling the dc2r the most! Was the best out of the 3

imo they look hot and the more you look at them the more they grow on you but also as samm said go for a test drive in each and youll get ur answer
I think modern Hondas are too 'high' in their stance, DC5, FN2 and EP3 included. The DC2R sits low and menacing, like a sports car should.
that's what I think.. why did they make the dc5 so chunky/rounded and tall or at least it looks like it.

thanks for all your opinions. i didnt buy siREAL black dc2r. so still looking around =] but yeah it was my first time driving a dc2r.. and i gotta say i was very impress with it. just there was other things that made me didnt buy it! but it was still sold to another buyer. so congrats to siREAL
dc2r is a great car but getting old go for the dc5r or ep3 the k20 is a better engine
