hey guys..
as u guys may noe i went and lowered my car a few months ago
i went today to a normal tyre shop to get an alignment ..
drove up the ramp ping.. the car touching the flaps on the ramp..
too low
then i went to pedders.. they shock their head and suggested me to go to the tyre factory cause they have pitted wheel aligner's
so i went there and got a quote for 65 bux..
i told them for sure it wont fit, they said it did..
and guess wat?? doesnt even fit!!!
my car is 1 fist high from ground to chassis
half a fist to the exhaust...
thats only a 2 1/2 inch drop
he even said its lower than superlows..
i learnt my lesson
:)
being low is kinda unique..
no one can fix it hehehe

man, thats crazy :) .... unique yes, but kinda impractical dont u think? lol
-
yeh i noe..
these springs arent compressed and not chopped
just tanabe super down procedeos..
shows u guys how the roads are like in japan..
flat and smooth unlike here in austrlia!!
even i dont noe wat the inches is dumped atm..
maybe 2 1/5 - 3 inch
dam..
its weird
for an accord.. people look and think.. hey..
looks PHAT too
:P
Ken

i dun wanna be sittin like a see-saw on my drive way!!
-

i had no problem getting mine aligned, went to Quickfit, their hoist is level with the ground with no rise at all.
In and out for $30, toe and castor all good, camber at -3 degrees and not moving unless i get a camber kit ;)
-
i got that done pete.. its called a pitted liner
couldnt get my car on any of the 2 they had
here are some pictures..

doesnt look to low.. but when u look under the car.. it sure dam low
:P
Ken

lol yeh, it doesnt actually look that low in the pics :D how far is it off the ground in cm? :D
-
from the ground and touching the chasis is less than a can heights..
say a tennis ball can merely fit
Ken
-
that looks hot man ... but luckily mine was only lowered by 1 1/2 inch because i wouldnt want it too low, yours dont look it, it just looks phat! nice car man...
-
Do you guys have ride height laws in oz?
In NZ it's 10cm from ground to lowest part of chassis, including exhaust, but not kits.
I have a 1.25 inch drop, and I sit 20cm from the ground to my factory exhaust on 15" wheels with 195/60's.
A can is 12cm high....but a tennis ball??? :P

anyone got a lowered accord in syd i can look at i wanna lower mine but dont know by how much
-
If i was in sydney i'd show you mine, but i'm in canberra and wont be going to syd for a while yet :)
razaman: yeh we have to be 100mm clearance as well. But, yeh...last time i tried to clear a coke can on its side i couldnt. I believe thats 65mm :p
Havent been defected yet either *touch wood*, car has been this ride height for a year, and for a couple months before that was even lower (had sparks flying from underneath with a couple of passengers hee hee). Cops dont seem to mind a nice lowered accord for some reason!
-
I love a lower accord as well.
Lately I've been seeing alot more modified accords where I live, and lots of modified wagons. They look mint lowered on 17's, with tints.

mmmmmmm decked wagons are niceeeeee
we dont have many wagons here, let alone modified ones (the only one that comes to mind is one on airbags in Sydney)

mine looks similar to yours. it dosnt look that low but nearly everything under it is esspecially where the exaust dips under the rear wheel thats about 75mm,
