wondering if these wheel sizes will fit on a dc5r and what mods will need to be done? atm my car is pretty much standard, i was thinking of putting the 9.5" on the front and 8.5" on the rear and i am looking at getting coilovers soon??

First thing you'll need to do is roll your guards.
The wheels will fit depending on your height, stiffness, camber, tyre size etc.
Imo, you should run your wider wheels on your rear..

^This site will give you an idea of what tyre size to run on the size of the wheels.
Don't think 17 x 9.5 +40 will fit. Probably will hit something.
If it does hit something, it will probably be the strut
what if i run it with a 15mm spacer?
so you reckon a spacer wont work to fit them? because im looking at buying these wheels maybe soon
spacer yess...however why not just get the correct fitment to start off with?
save yourself the stress..
just find out what width and offset will fit and go from there.
only reason is because someone is selling these second hand
hey mate I've got the enkei rpf1 17x8+35 on my dc5r. managed to fit them with 10mm spacers and coilovers. no scrubbing unless you take a hard corner lol rims wrapped in 215/45. hope this helps
Wouldn't think you'd need any spacers for that size
OP should wait until a set of wheels come up for sale that are going to fit without any headaches, plus using spacers on high offset wheels takes away the concave goodness! Look for a 17x9 + 30 for best DC5 fitment IMO
thanks for the reply, got 17x9+12 all around with a bit of camber, looks mad
shitty photos
btw where can i get camber bolts for the fronts? i got buddyclub n+ suspension ??
Ingalls camber bolts are popular, just did a quick search and the 16mm ones are recommended, I'm guessing for extra adjustment. My coils have camber adjustment on top of the strut so I haven't bothered with the bolts yet. You may want to look into aftermarket tie rods/inverted ends to improve the geometry/angle of your tie rods now that you've lowered your car, this thread has some great info on this http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...entre-adjuster
Have you got your rear guards rolled? Nice car btw man, looks the business!
