nice..
hope to see the other pics
You planning on selling the stock 17's? :D
not a hope in ......
sorry ;)
Hi HIPSI:
Congratulation on the delivery of your Euro. Those 17" look great. damn, they only brought them in for 05 spec Luxury. They should have done that back in 2003, because that's when I got mine. (only 16" back then)
Roger
I saw a graphite 05 with the new 17s and it looked sweet! with the factory bodykit, it would be even better!
White has pretty much become my fav Euro colour. Nice ride!
congrats hipsi, a very nice car indeed.
if you're gonna get 18's, get a white one :)
yeah. very nice ride hipsi.
i recently bought my euro as well. end of january i took delivery of it. i was considering white but ended up with graphite because i didnt like the ivory interior. which is also the same reason why i didnt choose black. :( but damn. new car and already slamming it on 18's and lowering. hahaha good stuff mate
Congrats.. congrats..
no point driving a std car if you don't want to!
you've got that right!
coNgRATS Hipsi... White is definetly nice colour to mod it.. Looks damn sporty...
Yeah be an individual and mod it :D
Those HP designs mags should look nice on ur white euro... What springs did u get to drop the car??
Got the wheels on this arvo. They're 18x8 BSA 264's. Tyres are 225x40x18.
Pum[Z] the springs are Kings Lows. (25mm I think)

looks nice but it seems higher then a normal Euro. Lower it i guess.
Nooooooiiiceee
maybe looks higher in the front 'cause i've got the original wheels in the boot and back seat. ;)
I must say again it looks awesome. I am plan on modding my car but dont know where to begin. there is barely no info for a guy like me on the net who knows nothing about mods and these things you put on wheels :P Any body got a website to help a fello like me to learn about these stuff?
Hipsi, nice ride mate, Your wife has impeccable taste !! Please report on the swaybar and camber kit (and some piccies when you get a chance) how it rides etc... Once again very nice.
haven't changed swaybar or installed camber kit. (I'm yet to look into the camber kit). The ride is really not noticably different from the standard 17's. The King springs certainly give it a firmer ride though. I would liken it to driving a std Euro, then driving a Mazda 6. The 6 has a more raw racey feel to the suspension, a very similar feel to what I've now got from fitting the Kings.
How much for the King Springs? :)
$330 fitted. The springs cost the shop $205.
Niceeeeeeee....... Didn't know BSA made rims very similar to the HP Designs... Damn they look so similar to my rims.... Hehehehhehee
Nice looking car... Ur wife would definetly stand out in that euro....
Wives gets all the good cars and husbands are driving shitboxs.
Don't worry, I've got my heart set on an S2000 ;) when I can afford to buy one is another matter.
lol.. howd u know!Quote:

Now all you need is a summer SLAM!! :p
man, euros r just sexy...
hipsi
I think i spotted your car this morning.
9am Pacific Highway, St Leonards
It looked nice ! If it wasnt you...
There's another car exactly like yours :p
Heh, ummm, considering I live and work on the Gold Coast....."I don't think so Tim" :D
Gibbo, Hipsi and Pum[z]:
what are your rims's off-set value?
I am thinking of upgrade my rim size to either 17 or 18s at the time when my tyres become slicks. I've just clocked 30000km on monday, in just 15 months.
Do your upsized wheels creat any rattling noice from any interior penals. eg. dashboard, door trim penals etc.? especially when travelling on highway with rough bitumen.
what am I missing with the 888's in the alias's?
anyway, mine and Pum[Z] are +45 offset. 225x40x18 tyre sits just inside the guard, a perfect fit. I honestly don't notice any difference in ride quality between the 17's and the 18's. The difference came when I fitted the lowered springs, but don't experience any rattling.....at least not yet ;)
good hey...cant wait to pick that up cos its a 147kw v6 with 280 nm of torqueQuote:

Any one else heard about these shorter bump stops ???
