Well found out today the Vti 1.8 is speed limited to 210 kmh ! Who would have thought, are any other models limited or is there a way to overide it ?

Speed limiting is normally done by the ECU.
And their are ways to disable it but I wouldn't.
where would you do more than 210km? if your engine can even handle those speeds?

All on private roads, but yes anything over 180 is pretty shaky unless it's a dead smooth track. Damn, I had it at 200 once, Should have gone 10 more!
I've never even gone beyond 120 in my civic, and thats boosted. haha
I have seen videos of the FK2 hitting 220 with the R18A2 engine.
Yeah private testing on the oldies farm ! Haha keep in mind rolling diameter my tyres would have the Speedo out by almost 10 % so probably doing 190. Felt like an indicated 220 was prob, so double ton is doable. Also had 100kg brother on board.

At what RPM did the engine cut out at 210km/h? Usually it is limited by wind resistance and not speed limited.
aarronng the engine cut out at 5400 rpm, gunna change the final drive next year to improve acceleration.

Had the fd2 sitting at 220 (214 on nav) with sunroof and windows down, and it was just cruising. Couldn't get to the top speed though as our flat road ends on a beach and I didn't feel like getting salt damage

I drive a Vti, it cost me $20K , already done Wakefield & Marulan last year, will do em again this year. Done plenty of track days on bikes at Eastern creek, Oran park. Personally I think the CRZ looks shit.
