Is clutch gone?
check oil levels
You're worried about your friends car?
:p just tell your friend to maintain his car and it'll be fine...
i drive it the most lols hes still on L's
Blocked cat
You drive it? So maintain it.
What are you gonna tell your friend if the oil light comes on one day? Lol...
Shit tank of fuel
Has this car been properly maintained?
Check your oil level.
any whale in passenger seat when you're vtaking ?
your putting on weight, its bad for vtec and hondas in general
so basically you telling us you broke you friends car :-P
did you change your intake recently? i heard changing intake can change your vtec point
Oil Level, Vtec Solenoid?
Or you've become desensitised to the sheer power of the stock B18 Engine (LOL) ..and just don't notice it so much anymore
pls try top up the vtec fluid
Leaking vtec solenoid?
check engine oil level... top up if needed... run ecu code test..
if above all appears to be normal... then " ur VTEC fell off! "
vtec fell off.. best answer

HAHAHAHAHAHA
you go man. be the up-standing good samaritan and ruin the trololing
good info here guise
Check your oil level, drive window down and no music on and listen out for vtec when accelerating at over 50% throttle.
maybe its just not kicking in y0~
B18c7 on an ek dosent pull hard not like a turbo rush anyway
if its an ek check the clutch fuild.
if its in the eg check the fan belt.
jump into the slowest peice of crap and drive that for a week
then jump back into the honda .. u will think its pulling hard again ..
your prob just gettin used to the cars power etc ..
when i got my R33 GTR last year it felt like a beast of a rush
but after while i got used to that feelin and drivin the car everyday
it just became normal ...
definitely the vtec fluid right next to the vtec pulley attached to the vtec charger......vtec
awy333333h
LOL funny thread. Check oil levels. is number one
Driving with air con on or something over loading the power supple can have power loss affect.
Has the car been re tuned or vtec point adjusted. I no of some people who actually raise the vtec point. So when vtec "kicks in yo" its more prompt and gives more the kick feeling.
Other then that check spark plugs, leads and distributor!
Check the timing
change your seats
Vtec sticker?
Your mates car's VTEC prolly got swapped to an I-VTEC lolol
r18 swap
heard its the best for boost
lmfao hahahaha bitch gettin alien raped is gold haha
This threadz, good info guise
Stop trolling you noobs.
OP just check oil level and if that's sufficient check if there's an oil leak at your VTEC solenoid.
Yeahhhhhhh lol
May as well do compression test too
^ true dat
1) Make sure oil level and oil pressure are good
2) Make sure car is at normal operating temperature
3) Make sure there is no check engine light
4 Make sure wires/plugs are tight or wired correctly
5) Make sure vtec solenoid is clean
6) Make sure you have a vtec enabled ecu
Hopefully you can get it sorted out! Good Luck
im suprised this thread is still open.......
Btw here is a couple of things to check out
1. Any vacuum leaks on the intake arm or around the air box
2. Failing / failed TPS
Both can alter the "feeling" of VTAK ( serious)
B SERIEous GUYS! this guy really wants help.
are u using 98 ron?
You expecting VTAK to kick so hard that you actually get forced back into your seat? o.O
Personally I think tell her to pull harder
when Vtec does kick in the power band isnt at the beginning of the VTEC rev range, usually its a bit further on nearer to redline, isnt it?
it should just make more noise and perform better then it would if it only had 1 size cam, its not boost.
what you could do is, get to vtec with ur foot at 50% then when vtec kicks in (yo~) plant it to the floor, it will feel like boost
if your exhaust has a flex, check it, it could be crushed!
