Incorrectly Advertised turbo prelude

engine is 100% factory, not rebuilt. He's claiming 30,000km on the rebuild when the car's done 204,000. I sold it to him with 200,000 and the motor was still stock, never opened. leaks from everywhere

The turbo is some old Garrett sleeve bearing with heaps of shaft play not a GT35/40 as claimed.

it burns more oil than fuel. Whatever some idiot will buy it

I had it advertised for 7k.
I sold the magna a month later for $6500

Also it got filled with water when my old street flooded and 10 cars were written off. Not mine, I didn't have insurance, so I took off the timing cover and dried the crank angle sensor with a hair drier. replaced the P72 ECU and wiring loom as it was rusted, the S100 I sent to the ECU guy in Adelaide and he moved it over to the new P72. When I got it back, it plugged in and fired up so I kept driving it; got lucky there.

edit: sorry not the loom I meant OBD2-1 harness was corroded beyond repair

Always wondered when I've seen this car for sale! says a lot for h22a's still going with boost and abuse, that thing is a time bomb lol, would love to see how it goes though.

You too, plus, i know the seller didnt rebuild the engine, because i emailed him, and he said that the "previous owner did it", which clearly, the previous owner didnt. Stop jumping to conclusions.

This is kind of unfair for the Seller of the prelude, the OP should of messaged him about the inaccurate add, before exposing the add and ruining the seller's chance of unloading the car to someone else; I mean the OP did it why should the seller not be allowed to do it.
As for anyone buying it, they have eyes, ears, comp tester etc... The car's faults can't be hidden.

The problem here is not that the car is ratshit, the problem is that the seller is lying about a complete forged engine rebuild having taken place.
