I recently replaced my fuel filter, o2 sensor, thermostat, replaced oil and filter, change coolant.
Now I'm still getting the same fuel consumption which is about 300-320 per tank,
Just wondering if theres any other way to really get more, as a lot of other friends with dc2r's are getting 400+
Mods:
-Intake
-Exhaust b-pipe/muffler
-Stock Headers
Petrol: Shell 98 or sometimes 98 BP (i see no difference in fuel economy/driving).

i got an EG. with b16a
changed all the perishables and still same ass consumption
do ya think an exhaust gas analyse will find the prob?

Not a bad idea, a wideband O2 will tell you if it's running too rich for any reason.Quote:

Sounds like you are running too rich.
Does the car misfire? Check all ignition components (Spark plugs, leads, dizzy and/or rotor)
Check Air intake temperature sensor
Give your throttle body a clean including the IACV
Check and/or clean injectors. injectors may be leaking?

maybe check your fuel pump regulator is holding the right fuel pressure? and also try clean n flush your injectors

check your tyre pressure, refer to door placard, also are your tyres worn out?? if it is, that's probably why your car is drinking fuel much. some people don't look at the tyres as one of the factors to fuel consumption.Quote:

clean or change your pcv valve. i went from about 9.5l/100km to 8l/100km. dont ask me how or why
I get around 450km to a tank. Thats with some spirited driving also!
