I just recently purchased a ITR 00 model and would like your input into obtaining HID headlights.
Can anyone advise where i could purchase Integra HID lights.
How much $$ should i expect to pay for this part?

cause they should have HID stock...
if its ausdm u're looking around the $500 mark...
would come down to preference in terms of the brightness and colour of the light

Do you have any URL links where i could view the suppliers.
Any place where i could get second hands ones cheaper ?
My preference is blue light and as bright as possible (street Legal)

I believe its illegal to fit HID on a car that did not have them from the factory, from what ive heard
any HID is illegal if u dun have head light washer... but i just cbf
Any places you know of where i could purchase up new or second hand HID lights.
I might take the risk of fitting them in as long as it's not to overly expensive.

Fasinn8, check out www.xenondepot.com , a quality German/Jap branded HID Kit should be around $600+AUD landed.
Do some reading and research. Make sure you dont buy 6500K+ ugly ricearse purple/blue HID. :)

check www.firesport.com they sell few second hand HID vision kits.
DC2R+DC Integras = 9006/HB4
KDG brand is very reputable.i can direct you to the distributor if u wish. costs around $500-$550 for low beam, extra $100 for hi/low beam. there is no law saying that HID is illegal. However, for oz car with factory HID they use either 5300K or 5600K. As long as the colour is white, they are fine (6000K is white). U can view www.kdghid.com for more info...

4200k = most lumens = brightest
i got 4300 .. its not completely white.. got abit of a yellow tinge to it
AFAIK 4300K isn't completely white, just as Christina's mentioned.
And also, AFAIK, OEM S2000 and Euro HID's are 4700K, not 4300K.
Being able to see at night! Stock dc2 lights are hopeless.. even if you change to aftermarket halogen bulbs, as you would all probably agree :DQuote:

Yes, but the amount of scattered light (aka glare) is practically non-existant on a projector lens. Reflector lens will do nothing to keep the glare in, and in many cases will add to the glare, but a good projector setup will not cause more glare.Quote:

what are all your thoughts on putting HID on the high beam too?
My opinion? Not worth it. You hardly ever have your highbeams on anyway - and if you're going to be using your highbeams primarily to flash people, you're going to kill the ballast in no time.Quote:

yep. Only way to get proper HID high beam is to get bi-xenon where the low/high beam is handled by the same bulb.
itr025 is right... you can get bi-xenon with low and highs produced by the one bulb. The shield on the projector housing is rotated to produce full beam which produces the high beam..
Turning ya HID on and off rapidly will also shorten the life of the bulbs..
