Hi fellow teggie owners, question specifically aimed at G2 owners. Just wonder how bright ur headlights are at night? mine are ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING and in the rain, its basically like driving with no headlights on, the beam probably shines for only 1-2m ahead. -_-" i heard this was just a crappy thing on G2 teggies or is it just my car?? is there a way to fix this?!

My cousin has a 93 LS and when i'm in his car at night cruising around they're perfectly fine, just as good as my old car a 97 teg vtir. He hasn't replaced them or anythin since he'z got it. I know this wont help you that much but just thought i'd say something.
By any chance do your head light lense's look a bit yellowish? or not as clear as they should? coz that could be what is causing the problem, there is a way to correct this without changing the lights, this link should be able to help: Re-new Head Lights!
I hope that solves your problem, if that still does not work? you might have to start looking at changing the light bulbs or getting you self a pair of brighter ones which may prove to be a big challange but possible!

if u dont have the time to sand your lights back then giving them a cut and polish works pretty well... but of course doesnt give as good results
maybe try to adjust the angle of the headlights??
yeah on my old Integra LS, the lights used to shine only about 2 metres ahead, so i got the front springs raised an inch or so...the front used to dip downwards.
did raising ur front springs help? i might try sand it...can't b stuffed today too hot n windy in melb! ahhhhh thanks for the advice guys
Yeah raising the front helped a lot. it was because when the person that used to own it lowered the car, they made the front unproportionally lower, so it made the headlights point downwards.
yes, try to adjust the angle, it will help a bit :)
Mine are ok.. i dont really take much notice, but they must be fine or otherwise i probably wont be writing this msg lol
you can try to reaim the lights.. lke others have already said..
re-aiming is the best way IMO
how do u go about re-aiming headlgihts?!?

i actually changed my lights and bought some phillips one for about 30 bucks each, beacuse my lights use to be yellow and dull. by changing them, it made it very noticable and you could tell the difference at night. i own a 97 teg. and had the same prob. may be try changing the lights, that might work. but if you change them, get good ones. the one i got are just legal. but there are two models above the ones i got. try looking at any Autobahn shop.

i'll try adjusting them first, my friend adjusted his ones..he rekons it doenst realy help much, i think my headlights are aimed directly at the ground..need to be aimed up a tad higher. but yeah, thanks actionman-1 for the help, i'll have a read of it now. Have u done this?
i just found the article 5min ago. I think i'll order a set of 9007's from ebay and have a go.

The bulbs dont fit without major alterations to you're 1 piece light socket. I abandoned this project as i decided i didnt want to alter the existing light socket.Quote:
