I am soon to to put my turbo motor in my new 97 integra and am looking to by another after market ecu as the haltech will be stayin in my LS to save on labour , have never had any problems with my e6x just wondering wats everybody else thoughts are......

i recomend autronic but the ecu comes at the price =P..
yeah i am leaning back towareds another haltech for quality for money wise .........as all the other brands come at a price , i havent had any problem with the haltechs in the past
If you didn't have any problem, no need to change ecu.
nah see i need to buy another one and want to look at options as my other haltech is staying in my 92 integra to run the na motor that is coming out of my new one ,
power FC, motec, i think hondata is for N/A i assume
power fc, autronic, microtech
hondata can be used for both FI and NA
keep your existing ecu and make it tunable.
He can’t make his stock ECU tuneable as it’s a 1997 GSi OBD2a ECU, thus why I replace the ecu’s on these vehicles with plug and play Hondata solution.
Iv got a few handful’s of 1997 b18b Gsi engines running around Australia, that iv tuned both NA, turbo, supercharge, and Nitrous cars, they all run and perform very well…. By far the best performing ones are the turbo ones.

i ran a haltech stand alone on the motor currently but that is staying in the gen2 , i need to purchanse another for the new teg , i was thinking apexi power fc but i heard that they only work on type r,
Stick with what you have then.... why change if it works.. and you have good local suport, go haltech.

infact OBD2 can be made tunable. but its to limmited and expensive. so yes an OBD 1 solution would be better.Quote:
