just swapped jap-spec B16A into my EG.
am trying to wire the Jap fuse-box in with the ELD, but the ELD has 3 wires comming out of it:
one is to pin on ECU.. done.
the other is to go to "Common Ground F".
and another is meant to go the the PGMFI Main Relay via Junction C415..
any one know where/how to add the 2 wires (Ground F, Main Relay) ??
any help greatly appreciated.

ahhhh, the mysterious ELD lol. I swapped a JDM prelude h22a into my accord and the prelude ecu is throwing a code for the ELD, unfortunatly for me the prelude and accord fuse boxes are not interchangeable so i think im gonna have to break open the prelude fuse box and get the ELD out of it then wire it up.
Its been throwing a code for the past 30000km lol, the CEL comes on all the time because i havnt hooked it up.
Anyways, in your case, i would think the main relay is under the dash somewhere, if u have all the wiring digrams you should be able to pin point the C145 junction, connect the wire up to that and the other i would think the other just goes to a common ground- you could either find another common ground in the wiring digrams and connect to that or just attach it to a part of the body in a way that its sufficiently grounded.
You should PM waymad, he put a JDM d15 efi engine in his eg civic which had a carby engine, he is getting a code for the ELD and he wants mine, he says he knows how to hook it up but he cant get a hold of an ELD as i wont give him mine.
hmmm.. the ELD seriously effects performance sub 3000RPM.. is bogging me down and has the bad idle fun.
I dont have correct wiring that's the prob.. I only have the ?Haynes SOHC EG manual which is obviously USDM and LHD :(
the ground will be sorted, but the junction.. well is there any point goint to that junction if my AUSDM SOHC VTEC Firewall-side harness is not wired for the ELD to Relay.. ??
ELD would not affect performance.
you have other problems (not surprising after an engine swap)

nah man.. have fixed 90% of the issues with the 'swap'..
the ELD does controll/effect the IACV.. from my research the ELD is linked to the Alternator and has SOME effect on the IACV's operation at idle and sub-3000RPM.
I've serviced the IACV and no change.
If I were to run in 'limp' mode, the ELD problem is overlooked by the ECU and erratic idle goes away and 'normal' sub-3000RPM drivability is returned.. all be it with super-rich fuel mixture no VTEC etc.
The ECU overlooks the ELD when at WOT or over 2800/3000RPM and you can actually feel the difference. if I take off from standing at say 1500RPM (normal driving takeoff) the motor will bog down untill it reaches around 3000 or more throttle is applied.
TPS is fine and set in correct position.
ECU is the correct JDM P30 that came from the donor car.
'race' performance and top end are NOT at all effected by this problem.
unfortunately I cant download the mannual from that site cause I only have shitty 56K dial-up :(

How much to have ELD code programmed out and also Knock sensor as I have a damaged knock sensor and cant afford over $150 for a new one.. sigh.
I need to sort out the O2 sensor heater issue also. I've found the ECU pinout for it but that's it. there's a sensor in the JDM cat, but I havnt fitted the cat yet thought I intend to.

ELD shouldnt affect performance, i had idle issues after i 1st got my swap engine going, i thought i was eld but i had vacuum hoses hooked up incorectly plus i also bypassed some sort of sensor where the vacum hoses go into then out again.
I double checked the vacuum hose diagrams and hooked it up right runs like a dream but eld still throws code.
I know all the vac hoses are right, the IACV has been serviced, TPS replaced and SET, MAP sensor replaced and wired correctly.. bla bla bla..
believe me LOTS of time and effort spent trying to get it right after the workshop screwed it all up big time..
I mean I could get evan to re-flash the ECU so that it ignores the ELD, but i've come this far and it's only one wire.. if i find that junction etc and then it dont work.. well re-flash away hahah.
the ELD DOES actually effect the idle. it is driven by the alternator / drives the alternator in terms of what the alternator does with it's current.. if the alternator doesnt cope with the electical drain on the system, it wil lactually increase engine speed to enable the alternator to meet the load of the electrics. this is also intertwined with the IACV for cold-start and idle type situations.. thus the irratic idel. i've had the bung IACV idle on my d-series and this is different. you can even see the headlights dim etc with the change in idle and i have no audio system or even air con etc instaled to interfear with the elecrical system.
I do see some functionality to the ELD, so i do prefer to keep it rather than program it out.. but as i said, that's a good last resort.
AUDM Civics never had ELD, so if you cant find the wire your after just kill it off.
yeah I know the AUS civic's have no ELD.. that's why i've sourced a JDM fuse box WITH an ELD and have thus wired it to the ECU and earth, just need to know how and where to wire it to the PGMFI Main Relay - which AUS Hondas DO have ;)
i'm kinda wanting to get the stock issues sorted and then check out the condition of the motor more thoroghly ( i cant even set the timing with it like this ) then I plan to talk to you about your ECU/Tuning product.
I kinda want to avoid band-aid solutions since i've spent this much $$ on it all..

ELD WILL NOT EFFECT IDLE.
Its there to detect Load on the electric system, such as turning on headlights, or a/c compressor kicking in, and thus picks up the idle revs......
THAT IS ALL.
Bede - Local Ground = pin A26 on ECU
Krasyvy - FIX your F$%%^^&&G TDC problem and your Idle will correct itself some.
Replace the Dizzy with a KNOWN Good One, borrow a mates???
Then you need to get a stock P08 program for your P28. I've explained this to you many many times, what do you not understand?
