lookin at replacing the stock gearknob from my EG, anyone know the easiest safest way to do so? Theres no visible screws on the knob itself, is there some sort of a trick to removing it?

get a glove or a small towel - and place it firm around the gear knob - and turn it HARD and FIRMLY counter clockwise. it will come off eventually...

as easy as opening a coke bottle lid :)

won't budge?? that's the only way to take it off short of cutting it.
