I've managed to get a few hundred kays out of these tyres now and I rekon they're damn good. I believe the RE030 (OEM) tyres are still better in the wet, the RE711 I believe will shine in the dry performance.
There seems to be some more road noise and the turn in is extremely sharp. Alot more responsive than the RE030. I haven't had the chance to find the grip capabilities safely ;)
I will be hitting the track in a few months and will see how these babies really perform.
They are also a very sexy looking tyre.
BTW, I can't believe NO-ONE wants high-performance, low price tyres!? Heck, it doesn't even have to be the potenzas, I could get people G-Grids if they wanted for a good price. I guess people here are more interested in engine-power mods than real performance mods? A damn good set of tyres can shave of more time in a 400m dash than a fart-can exhaust!
