Get a bypass valve to avoid hydrolock

After removing the resontator, your piping should easily fit through the hole and you can then mount the filter.

To avoid hydrolock, especially when the road floods during a big downpour, buy an AEM bypass valve, you can pick these up on ebay motors quite cheap. Mine costed be $45AU delivered from the USA, just make sure you get the right size bypass valve for your piping.
