a/ Short shifter Skunk2, C's, B&M other???????
"Felt" C's s/shifter; not much throw difference to the stock ITR shifter.
b/ Eibach Sportline or H&R lowered, progressive springs?
Both rated at 1.7" down FR & RR.
Had Eibach PRO KIT (1.3" down) on my VTiR, nice ride, but not low enough and the stock ITR springs are stiffer.

On the other hand, heard some good stories regarding the H&R springs on ITR. Just need some confirmation and also "where to get".
2/ Short shifter- position's not the issue. The length of throw is.
The ITR shifter is fine, but throw's a touch too long.
you have beeen reading too much US forums
2) driver position allows you to adjust position of knob relative to the wheel and length of the throw
you can pick up second hand coil-overs any where from $1000+.
i heard a while back that the skunk2 short shifter wasnt very good. dont know the truth but it was posted on here a few months ago.

someone on clubrsx bought the c's short shift kit from tanghy a while back .. maybe he can refer u to them ..
i did a bit of perusing on honda-tech for s-shift kits ..
i heard bad things about skunk2/dc sports s-shift kits ..
the only kit i have all good things about is the one tanghy is selling ..

one thing i know aobut dc, they break off where the knob is.. hehehe
With the Short Shifter information: fortunatly/unfortunatly you wont get much short shift from a short shift kit, because the TypeR transmition is short throw so its a lot shorter than most cars and just no point of putting it in. Im not sure about "tanghy's" post of that kit but yeah.

i run kg/mm dr21 drracing speing on my type R. they r spose to be one of the best spring u can get for your car. no sags, firm when cruising and stiff when hard cornering. i strongly recommend DR RAcing to mate with itr shocks. FYI H7R sags like mofo.
regarding the C'z adjustable shifter . its been sold ages ago.
I've got Progressive Rate SportSprings.... $200. Jamex, made in Holland, Setanta in here has some in his JDM SiR. I also have the matching shock absorbers.

I drove a DC2 ITR and I have a Cs short shifter in my car, and it's slightly shorter than in the DC2 ITR. There's definately a difference though..with a s/shifter it's click, click, click ;)

also by means that the ek is also a b-series engine, so the "type ek" from c's also fits the dc2 ITR. Although c'z claim a 70% shorter throw -in that sense i would suggest its benchmarking from a non type r shifter...
when you mentioned that c's shorter throw is only marginally shorter when compared to the ITR, you have to note that the ITR shifter was design for a shorter throw right from the factory.
and for those with short shifter those who botheres will noticed that the shifter @ netural, sorts of leaning to one side....and the only long term issue with short shifter is that it will hurt your synchros....on that note the type r synchros are also different from the non-type r and thus obvious to which will withstand a lil abuse:)
finally i have this impression that c's has ceased it business since last year and maybe i haven't been following on c's for a good few year now...so maybe so one can update me on that:)
b4 you ask what the different...notice the type ef has this ball joint along the shifter...well the ek doesn't have this ball looking joint instead it has this bell looking thingy as seen in tanghy picture...
IMO, there is nothing wrong with the ITR short shifter - it serve it purposes and less stress on the tranny's synchros...if you want move up, then i say the position shifter from tangy is a good setup... and no doubt that c's makes one of the better if not the best aftermarket shifter for honda:)

Springs - accquired s/h H&R coil springs.
These have lowered a car by ~25mm. (Still some gap to the fender in front).
Car looked better and the suspension was a fair bit stiffer. Quite uncomfortable on the road and a car felt "very nervous" on the race track. Not happy!:(
Short shifter _ accquired s/h DC Sport short shifter.
A throw was shorter, but a shift effort was a way to high.
