what injector do would suit my purpose?

Im thinking of upgrading my fuel system when i have my ecu installed. But im stumped as to what size to get. I know of a type R who has RC 310cc saturated injectors but what would i need on a B18B2?And could someone explain the difference b/w saturated and peak and hold injectors.

Basically i have a MoTec M4 and Spoon cam sprockets and an AEM lightweight pully kit ready to go on. The rest of the plan is a Skunk2 intake manifold, fuel pump and injectors.

What do i need? And costs would be good too.

use what you have, what makes you think you need larger injectors for a SK2 intake manifold & lightened flywheel?

Stock Injectors will be fine... but if you must... go 310RC but honestly its not needed...

This is what im wantin to do/done, if i dont stand to gain anything anymore power with an upgraded fuel system than what i will get with this set up then that saves me a good $1000+ (i found hondatech).

And turbo is out of the question (I looked into it a lot and its a no go) to those out there wanting to type "boost it" ;)

the easy and most effective way to increase fuel flow (a little bit) is to increase fuel pressure, ie with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, like the B&M one ($130)

this will 'virtually' increase the fuel injector flow rate :)

only on a dyno when examining your A/F ratios will you see if you need to increase fuel pressure due to air-flow increases (of which you have minimal)...

The stock injectors are 240cc and will be more then enough for a nice A/F curve up to about 200whp. The OEM fuelpump can supply injectors up to 370CC without problems, but you'd wanna get a FPR w. gauge to make sure your going right. I cant stress enough the importance of a A/F curve - to go with proper A/F tuning. That being said - you're mods arent really performance mods as such, so I see no need for a change in your current fuelsetup.

my stock Injectors and fuel reg was good for about 124kw. You will be fine with the stock injectors for the mods you got. If anything just change the FPR like what tink said

To make power you will need to lean the tune hence reduce injector duty cycle.

Since your intake charge flow has not changed, you wont need any upgrades to fuel pressure, fuel pump, or injectors.

Perhaps you can email me or just tap me on the shoulder next cruise/meet or even before then if you need to talk options.

Oh trust me i know what your saying. Do you know any companies that make them for the B18B2 engine? I admit that as for cams i havent researched deeply but want ive been finding is that unless the car is vtec, cams dont exist.

As for reasons for the motec, why not go for the best? I mean i can afford it. Yes i could save a heap and go with hondata or even a shitty emanage but personally i dont believe in going cheap when it comes to cars, especially when anything to do with the engine management and internals is involved.

Im no expert on cars actually im a car noob but i have seen mates go cheap with their cars and they end up running like shit and they where very unhappy in the end for the $ spent.

you just have to look at some other threads on here to see the drama's ppl are having when they do things on the cheap, i recall a turbo install....:)

Uhm.. If this is a B18B engine with some light boltons, you dont need anykind of tuning at all really.. The only thing you need, is a VTEC head and do a ls/vtec :) Then we'll talk tuning :)

i do not think that you will even see very many HP from your listed mods :(

if you "can afford a motec" at least get a decent set of headers...

and IMO, anyone who says a frankenstein conversion is "more trouble than it is worth" either has never tried it, or ****ed it up...

LS/Vtec is a great mod. more power then u would expect, if u want to stay NA :) Golden eagle do install kits which make things easy...

IMO though, if u got cash for a motec, get a turbo kit/custom. b18b turbo puts out good HP, stock. :P

There is no point in changing ECU or get ECU stuff if you dont have anything on your car worth tuning more then the stock ECU already does for you in closed loop. Put your money to some real use! :)

My point was that he doesn't need the ECU stuff yet. Yes, if he continues to modify his engine he might need it later on, but I dont understand why he needs something expensive, when the S200 or even the Uberdata will do the job just fine. All you need for a N/A car is the basic S200 kit from Hondata, and a wideband (I prefer PLX because you can rewire it to give out 1V narrowband o2 feedback to the stock ECU).

Weq mentioned a cam upgrade. I did some research and talked to a few ppl and they sent me to the crower website. They make stage 1 cam's for the B18B. So eventually i will be placing an order for a set, i dont know if anyone on here deals with crower but i might just order them online.

sharky: dude, step back. dont go buying parts randomly. IMO u seem like u wanna work ur B18B. Go onto honda-tech and search "LS" "LS/VTEC" "LS integra" or "b18b" and u will find a route. RESEARCH then BUY. give urself a good 1-3months of research before u make ur first purcahse!
