DARK Jazz tinted tail light....legal or....??

Hi all

I just got my Jazz's tail light tinted today, looks great~thanks to Zimp13 (Danny):thumbsup:

However, just one question though, coz It's actually a lot darker than wat i expected.....i was wondering if police gonna give me trouble with it or not..

The brake light show clearly still and i didn't spray the middle part for the indicator and reverse light (those who have jazz would know wat i am talking about), just that in daytime, it looks like 80%+ dark..

Any suggestion would be great~thanks~!

should be fine as long as you don't spray the brake light or reverse light

just buy something to spray for glass....u can find those in autobarn....

night shades is a tinting spray..there's only 1 colour

you can get it from repco, autobarn even bunnings

yes night shades is defectable but no not many cops would pick you up for it.

i tinted mine too (by zimp13)....... ye, as I've heard, as long the turn signal and reverse light isn't tinted, you will have no trouble with it.....

i liek the look of tinted tail lights but i don't like the fact that its practically irreversable - and i couldn't be stuffed taking out the light to spray it.

im thinking about buying a tinting film for the rears instead. i like the look of film because the lights still look just as shiny

my tail lights have been tinted for over a year... cops haven't pulled me over yet either and everything is tinted reverse and indicators... hope i didn't jinx meself

I just wondering is tinted tail light is illegal? because.. i just got pulled by police.. even though i didnt tinted my reverse and my side indicator light.. only brake..

they said.. "tinted tail light is illegal.. and i got $150 fine -.-"

so yesterday after i pulled by the police.. when i go home.. i look at the Night Shades Can Spray and clearly it said "For Off road use only"

u dun look at the can... of cos they would write that... if not, like wat happen to u, u can sue them... best is to check with the authority itself (find any written info)... cos some cops fine ppl when they wish, make up any law themselves cos they think they are the laws...

also nowadays there are a lot of services to help fight against any unfair charges or fines laid against us.... tinted are illegals yet some car comes with standard taillight tint.... of cos from factory then its ok (wats the difference besides just showing authority???)....

all i can say is u r not in the luck.... also, how dark is ur tint anyway??? i ve been pulled over by cops before, saying aftermarket pedals, momo steering wheel, tinted windows (tinted by Honda) are all illegal....
