There is an Oddesy on the forums though :)

welcome! your CR-V is phat!!
that's the first time i've seen a 4wd that i like.. :!:
thats for the kind words. I have made a few simple mods that make my V stand out from the other thousands out there :) I get lots of looks from people when I go back to th dealer for servicing.
Welcome buddy.
I like your grille...if you call it dat. Where'd you source that item from??
I got the upper grille from Malaysia. The bumper mesh grill is actually an Honda accessory in Australia.
i thought so.Quote:

They are gonna be producing/manufaturing the CRVs there soon if they havent already. But i dont know if it's for the local market or international market. so u'd expect them to produce aftermarket bits too aye.. :)
My brother's got a CRV with gen 5 Prelude rims (wonder where he got those  ) on it
I'll post a pic up when he gets back... it's also a black one, but not the sports one unfortunately!
My mum used to have a first gen CRV - they rock, I learnt to drive in a CRV
how many variants are there for the CRV anyways??
there are only 2 varients. Standard and Sport. both are the same mechanically but the sport gets the look good gear like painted bumpers and mirrors, sunroof, alloys, hard spare wheel cover, fog lights, etc...
aaaaah..thanx for that.
hey mate, nice crv :D mate of mine has a silver one.... where abouts did you get the front grill? he's thinking of putting some mags on....
btw, anyone got high res pics of a silver crv? the new model such as the black one in the pic.
I got my grill from www.shamsulauto.com in malaysia. they export all around the world :)
here is a pic of a modded silver V from the phillipines. I reckon it looks pretty sweet :P

nice, ill show him the pics :D
i put some wheels on yours :D
http://home.iprimus.com.au/rayhui/crv1.jpg
what size are they? 20" ?
Thanks for that!! I must say those wheels look sweet on my V. I have been considering wheels for a while but putting low pro tires on a 4wd looks strange unless you do a big slamming job on it :)
yeh i slammed it a bit hahah :D i like how it looks now tho!!
Hey lads, can I play? I have a 2000 CRV, with a bit of tint and stuff.. Only had it a few months.. Not many of us CRV drivers on here but..
About to put Accord Euro rims on mine.. Will post pics after it is done..
Nice rig too.. Mine is black as well, but obviously the older model, but Sport.
accord euro rims :D gotta see what that will look like
Yeah, gotta admit, I'm a little curious myself.
The move from 15" rims to 16's is only a small one I know, but it could add a different look overall to the car, well, thats the theory anyway..
After all, got the new rims for the best price in the world.. :o
dont forget to post up pics with the new rims :)
What colour are the euro rims you are putting on?
how much?
Well, the Euro rims will be standard alloy rims, off a stock Euro, and as far as I know, the best price in the world is.... FREE!! ;)
http://www.honda.com.au/Accord/Euro/.../ext_wheel.jpg
Free? Explain...?
as in, he is getting them and paying $0.00
this is my brother's and his wife's crv with my 16" prelude wheels from the VTiR gen 5.
http://cuddles.hondata.com.au/catherine/crv.jpg
Looks better than stock i think anyway
my mum/brother (incoming) drives a black CRV sport with 17inch rims and a CRV type R badge
lol got pics joyride? crv type r HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA
what wheels have you got now cat?..
http://new.mgg.com.au/images/mgg/hon...e%20cat~08.jpg
They are my wheels... so yeah, brother stole mine temporarily and he owes me some tyres for it when i do decide that i want them back :x
i like your new wheels :D are there anymore pics lying around?
This is getting very off topic
Honda cruise feb 21-22nd 2004 <-- pics below

http://cuddles.hondata.com.au/cather...ise/index.html
all you need to now cuddls is drop your lude on its guts and will look mean :)
OK... will everyone stop saying that???
No money and it's sooooooooooooo annoying! :x Plus, the exhaust scraped enough with 16" wheels (not much anymore) so yeah, doesn't help when u have a 5" exhaust tip and an even bigger muffler cannon
hahahaahhahah i didnt say it :D
if i remmeber to take pics tonite or tomorrow, i'll post them ;)Quote:

cuddls: what rims are those???!
looks like theres no "dish" on them...
there sitting on thin air!!
My dad's workmate lent his brand new Black 04' CRV for him to drive to work for da past few weeks. So da Euro has been sittin in da garage during da week..
It's so exciting when u get to drive a brand new car! :P
Went for a drive in it and only had 700kms on it so no thrashing!
I'm so used to driving smaller cars and was so difficult to get used to parkin n all!
The CRV has an in-dash Blapunkt TV and Sat Nav! 8) It's was so annoying having two seperate remotes...
Too bad I couldn't work out how to get the sound from da TV. :(
When my bro had a drive it was so funny when he couldn't put da Handbrake down! :D Then I guess most RV cars have a similar set-up..
The CR-V was a nice car to drive, perfect for long trips! Still da verdict was Dad still luvs da Euro! ;)
BigDongers, that looks sweeet man !
My dad has a new CRV Sport.
where did u get the front end / grills done ?
CRV Type R pffft
u serious anyone will believe that ...
the bottom mesh is a factory honda option. It cost me about $200.Quote:

Hey hey. I've got a silver 2001 Honda CR-V Sport. My other ride is a 1999 Honda Civic Coupe (also silver).
Yeah dude i just bought one and im gunna spend some money on it so far ive had it 2 months and its got lowered springs a rampod and a pioneer stereo soon to be putting 18 inch hp wheels on it
pics when your done DACRV :D
yeah that be cool
yeah that be cool
*edit* double post and I couldn't delete
My dad had the old CRV Sport...I loved that car so much. I would get a CRV if I had a family or something...
It was his work hack and he racked up 170,000kms on it in about 2.5 years. There was not 1 single problem with it over that time and it still went pretty hard (although it was getting a bit noisy under the bonnet). They are the best!
Bad thing is, he has since sold it and bought a new Falcon....
do u honestly think anyone would believe it? :roll:Quote:

Dan

G'day. Does any one know how i can buy cheaper fog lights to suit the current crv without going to the dealer?......legally!
I think the only way is to buy them overseas. Even then, you may need to look at aftermarket ones like ones made by a company called carryboy to get them significantly cheaper.
hey guys,
i dont have a crv but some of guys were chasing parts or whatever i have got a couple of things for the CRV.
i have a couple of intakes:
http://www.australianauto.com.au/HTM...lter%20kit.jpg
http://www.australianauto.com.au/HTM...IM-H004-CH.jpg
and some Clear Side indicators:
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/attachm...ntid=526&stc=1
these are NOT exact pics just examples. :) sorry not clear tail lights, wish i did have em tho :(
A friend wants lowering springs for his crv, are there any that lowers the car 3inches or more?
thanks
Yeah man you can adjust the height 0-4 inches, but if you lower it anymore then 2 3 inches I strongly reccomend that he purchases sum aftermarket shocks, lemme know if he is keen to buy em. To look at the pics of the springs go to www.weapon-r.com
I have to say I drove a 2000 crv sport for a year as a first car. Until i got my dc2r. And believe me the crv is still the best car to drive on a daily basis...I love the beast...
looks mad! did u mod the engine?
the Crv is a 2002
what I am wanting to know is the standard offset of a factory wheel.
Also the stud pattern ?
Crv are 5x114.3
Do a Google search or trail and error trying different size and offset wheels to get max stance look you want
