I plan on doing an Integra Brake upgrade on an EG in the near future.
Just wondering what the stud patterns of each are Integra model/year are? Dont worry about including the ITR as i dont plan on going 5-lug, too expensive.
Just wondering which are 4x100 and 4x114.3????

DA DC are 4x100 not sure on offset, Prelude is 114.3
I got DA9 Integra front hub, calipers, pads & rotors on my ED. Nice and easy swap...
I believe all Integra's have a 4x100 stud pattern, even the DC2 Type R's(which have a larger rotor)
JDM ITR 96 spec is different though
The dc2r's have a 114.3 x 4 as with the dc5rs.Quote:

Paul just a word of advice, your planning on buyin an EG6 1/2 cut, the EG6 and DC2 are the same brakes :)
Also, if can be bothered with the hassle, prelude brakes are great option too. PM me and ill tell you a bit bout it if you want that as an option.

the legend calipers are similar to the nsx ones difference is that the nsx ones are aluminum. legend calipers r 2mm larger than the nsx which means more clamping. yes u would need at least 15's.
ill most definately be going with the DC2 option. With the integra calipers, i shouldnt have any issues should i?
ill be running most likely 15" rims, maybe 16"
Ill probably pick up a set of brakes from the wreckers off a gsi or something similar
From my research heres what i'll need:
* DC2 Complete Knuckle Arms
* DC2 Complete Rear Trailing Arm
* DC2 Brake Booster
* DC2 (98+) 1" Master Cylinder
* SS Brake Lines (maybe)
* DC2 Handbrake Cables
* DC2 (94/95 i think) NON-ABS Proportioning Valves
* New Brake Pads
* New Brake Fluid
Is that about it?
And am i right that all 98+ DC2's come with the 1" MC and that the 94/95 DC2's came with the NON-ABS Prop Valves??
Depending what model EG your putting this in Paul. If your still going with the breeze then you dont NEED a dc2 booster and master cylinder specifically. An EG SI/VTi one would be suffice as well from my experience (i went through all this on my old breeze). Ive seen my mech do rear disc conversion on a breeze and he didn't change the MC or Booster, just adjusted piston in the MC to generate more hyrdolic pressure for the rear discs.Quote:

You've pretty much covered everything in that list paul, good research. If your doin a full 4 disc upgrade from the teg then yea you'd definatly need the knuckles hubs and discs and rotors of course. For the rears Rear, Brake lines, handbreak cable, trailing arms are a must as well. Refluiding the system is definatly a good idea and a necessity. The pads are a good idea but depending on the meat left on them when you buy the setup its not *MUST*, but if you have the money its a good idea.
Another thing id recommend paul is before you install it get all the rotors machined =)
i'm changing to a prelude master cylinder very soon apparently they r better for braking
Whats your setup EGB16A? What brake setup are you using?
I know my friend put prelude calipers on his gen2 CRX n upgraded his MC to the prelude one as well. HUGE difference. :thumbsup:
I've been advised not to place a master cylinder from a car with ABS to a car without ABS. Thus not a good idea to use a 98 DC2 master cylinder in your EG unless it has ABS.

I need to know because the EG definately doesnt have ABS.. All the US guys are using 1" MC's on their EG's.. i'll do some searching unless someone can help fill me in with some details?
btw, to further on what u said James.. you can upgrade to the better civic MC at 15th/16th which would be a clear improvement (the stock one will be 13th/16th)... but the 1" will be heaps better and ive from my research ive found its a really good idea to upgrade to the 1" over the 15/16...
