I plan on using ITR Rear LCA's on my EG Hatch (if i can find a set) along with an ITR Rear sway bar and reinforcement.
Im also wanting to get a set of Tein SS Coilovers.
Just wanna know if i will have any problems with these coilovers going into my EG along with the ITR Rear LCAs????
Also does anyone know why the australian tein SS coilovers have been changed??? what is the difference between these and the japanese versions?

no problem at all - since ITR LCAs are the same if not 99% similar to EG6 lca's - then these tein SS's to suit EG6 will bolt straight into your lil EG :)
Also , I have heard the local built tein ss's simply have a softer spring rate and possibly adjusted vavling to compensate...
Its actually 99.9% bren.
wots the different between the two ? i heard some CRV ones the same ?

what about if i have say an EG5/3, but plan on getting the ITR Rear LCAs at a later date. Will the EG6 SS Coilovers go on with no probs to the EG5/3 with their current LCA's??
if its only a spring rate im not too fussed on whether i get AUDM / JDM.
Just clearing up a couple of things before i decide on getting a set :)

can someone explain the reason for pillowball mounts on a EG or DC etc ?Bling or ? They are to adjust camber true ? With our suspension design there is no way of adjusting camber via the shock length - it can only be done via the upper control arm kit of some sort...:confused:Quote:

You can't adjust camber with ther upper pillowball mount...
I got Type Flex with the upper mount thinking I could adjust camber..
But on Honda cars you need to get a camber kit to adjust camber...
The only was is raise and lower the car... The lower it goes the more camber there is..
The pillow ball mount gives a stiffer ride coz it replaces the oem rubber mounts..
In a way it does give a little bit more response in handling

ITR's use the loopeye rear lca though, do they not? Same rear suspension used in the 1988 crx and the jdm del sol sir. I know that they're not interchangable with any of the civics that we got here in the US, although I don't know if the AUDM EG6 uses a rear loop eye or a rear fork suspension mount.
hence the need for ITR LCAs and i have ITR LCAs on my EG5 with Tein HA and they work fine.
EG6 uses eye
yup ~ its a more firm ride for lowered cars apparently -afaik the pillowball strut top is more so designed to keep the stroke centre of the shock in line when lowering the car more.Quote:
