Servicing an EF8 fresh off a boat.. what should i do service wise?

Hey guys just got hold of an EF8 and i am the first aussie owner. The car has done 100,000k's (or so the odo says) and before i drive it i am going to give it a good service.

This is what i plan to do.

*Replace engine oil (just use honda oil or should i go some synthetic... mobil 1?) and replace oil filter with a honda one.

*Replace radiator fluid with honda rad fluid.

*Replace gearbox fluid with honda trans fluid.

*Replace powersteering fluid with honda fluid.

*Replace spark plugs

*Replace fuel filter


I think that is about it. Now there are a few things i am wondering:
what oil should i use for a b16a1?
what spark plugs should i use?
How do i go about changine the gearbox fluid and powersteering fluid?
Is there any model specific tricks to any of this? Anything else i should do or look out for on the crx?? Anyone know where i can get the workshop manual from too as one big pdf?

Also anyone know what honda do for 100,000 k services for crx's and for b16as? Valve lift adjustment??? or anything else?

Does the car have any service history? If not, TIMING BELT!!!
80k service is usually the big one so even getting an 80k service with timing belt change is an option

Basically replace all fluids and filters, cant go wrong

Tranny should have a drain and fill plug, might need a funnel or something as to not spill tranny fluid everywhere when filling up
Powersteering will have a small tank in engine bay, drain that and top back up with new fluid, make sure you bleed p/s by jacking up front of car with front wheels in the air and then turn lock to lock afew times with p/s tank cap off

when you pull the old plugs out, use the same as what was originally in it.
Alternatively, any 2005 NGK catalogue will have a listing in the import section.

Valve adjustments to factory specs would be a good idea as well.

Brake fluid flush would be a great idea too...

also it would be a good idea when the timing belt is off to replace the water pump as well

timing belt was done around 15,000 k's ago so should be ok..
maybe i will book the car in for a 80,000 k service and do anything that honda doesnt..

what colour is your EF8?

Themostat change also as it could get faulty if sitting around not being driven

i would have a look at the brake master too to check if shes leaking. Almost the day my crx clockd 100000, the brake master cylender shat itself. happened to my other mate too but he got another 10,000 or so kays out of it more than i did. if shes leaking, get a reco one from somewhere. Theyre pretty cheap.

A normal service plugs/filters/oil, together with a timing belt + new water pump.

take it to hanny's.. they'll take good care of it all..

anyway, i doubt i will do the timing belt just yet.. seeming though it has been done.. maybe in a couple of years

all fluids need to be changed
timming belt is a must on 100,000km's unless you have a service history saying it's already been done recently...

any recommendations on oil?

also if anyone knows about removing doors or has experience in rust removal check my other thread:

and i assume b16a2 spark plugs are fine for a1's?

and the same deal with a2 thermostates.. do they work with a1's?
