this was around 6 months ago thought i would put it up here and show some people what a preety much stock b18c2 does in a 1/4 mile

1st run was a 14.449 @95mph with 2.2 60 footer
2nd run was a 14.5

that's no way its a c2 those engines are not that quick unless you change alot.

how much have you stripped? what mods do you have as its 'pretty much stock' usually means you got exhaust and intake. what octane fuel? what temp was the air? barefoots B18C2 only ran in the 15's and his whole interior was stripped plus he has excellent suspension setup
well done man... i duno much abt 1/4 mile.... but i saw an EK with B18cR got his best time of 14.5 ... XD

well MRHNDA in his EK has a b18c7 i think its mostly stock and he ran a 14.6 i believe

no i didnt say that,i know for a fact that my engines internals are full stock,be4 i thought i had b18c JDM pistons from a si-r but the engines has been pulled apart and no sign of anything aftermarket except a dead clutch i also thought i had exedy clutch and flywheel :( but everything was stock

you must shift fairly well. as for no launch and gettin 2.2 60ft not that is a bit farfetched. my best, i mean best ever 60ft was 2.23, my car is stock other than a short ram intake and 2.5 inch steel pipe catback, the car runs rich, syncro gone in 5th and the clutch has almost given in yet im able to run 14.41 which is quicker than most/all H22A N/A accords on this site and an american site with same or more mods other than cams so yeah i believe you...

a b18c engine weights like 30 to 40 kilos more then the d16y engine,no aircon no back seats no spare tyre probably saved me around 40 kilos so i probably droped it back to 1040 plus my weight 75 kilos weighs in at 1115 kilos,b18c2 in a eg hatch isnt really 15s more like close to low 14s like the time i got so sum people just goto know when to give the engine all its got:D

i also ran 14.9 in my b16a, thats 160hp, with muffler and intake, and stripped rear section, so a lighter car with b18c with a capable driver running 14.5 aint a freakish claim..
