what kind of accord du you have ..
I wouldnt attempt installing a head unit if you have no experience. Try and find a mate who does them who will have a multimeter to check the wires and hook them up correctly. Once you learn off somebody then it is easy as.
5th gen, '94
Yeah i'd take javed's advice get someone in the know to show u first time round ...
In my case i've alwaze gone to shop to do my stuff cause well if it gets stuffed up there's alwaze someone else to blame and pay for the damage ... ehhehe
lol, it looks pretty simple though.
With a multimeter and test light it is pretty simple. Any good with a soldering iron? Otherwise crimping then wrapping tape around may be ur best option. If you do decide to go ahead remember to take the ground (negative) wire off from the battery before u go blowign any fuses! :P
Always solder and heat shrink like this. ;)
sorry for hijacking this thread but
marty (do u mind if i call u marty?) do u solder or cripm connections when u do installs?
to take the stock headunit out of the 5th gens is a real bitch. gotta rip out ur entire console area, and the handbrake/arm rest bit.
do u have the 6 stack and security headunit?
mine was a real bitch takin out, but now with after market, so easy :D
Yeah, im not worried about getting to it. Im more worried about conecting it.
No stacker, just radio+cassette... i dont think it has security on it, how do i check?
