that looks clean as
i don't think there is a set way to go about hiding the wires, but from what i've seen - extend them/wrap them/group them/re-route them under the fenders etc. relocate items such as the battery, remove ac/ps etc etc...
I will post the link from Honda-tech shortly, but basically it is not a simple job. There is lots of moving things and choping/grouping wires together (as mentioned).
have been looking on honda-tech for this and have not been able to find anything...
help!!!!!!
its easy as.
just need simple tools and know how.
there is a DIY on ht however it says, remove motor and reroute wires. its hardly a DIY writeup.
i doubt youll be able to find a comprehensive write up coz its pretty easy.
im half done on my car and ill be redoin it soon i just have many other projects on the go atm
cant wait!! :) thats pretty mint.
ive been looking at the hot4's Honda special found it at my work locker the nip tuck surgery they've odne is blo0dy marvelous
i think wire tucks are awesome, would love to do it on my car....
it seems very tedious though...does anyone have pics of a wire tuck that maintained the air con and power steering?
hms.. need to find a shit box, so i can trial it.
lol.
lookz sooo clean... gotta be hard 4 a nooby like me...
The only skills you really need to do a simple wire tuck is soldering. Apart from that you simply need alot of time, patience and a bit of creativity. Just remember how things were when you took them apart then extend/reroute/move them.
hmmmz... sounds tricky...
is there some sort of DIY on this topic???
not finished products but the process...
Common sense and an eye for detail is needed, also its best if your engines out, wish i done mine when i doen the swap, but meh, its on my to do list.
narr i aint gona pull out my engine...
ive done many wire tucks on hot rods you wont find a decent wire
tuck write up because all cars are different it all just comes down to using your brain and being practical.
but if your gona do it do it properly and dont leave it looking like shit full of holes
how much would it cost to have someone do a wire tuck on a EG...
not that ill go ahead with it... just out of curiousity...
the cost would be quite high as its a very time consuming and fiddly job. it would also be very hard to quote on as every car is different and it really depends on how far you want to go with it
hey dude, i am in the middle of doing this to my car,
