Nice pictures, someone you know? Or you maybe?
Me. it took me two weeks to do after work and a little on weekends, if i had two spare days i could have done it in that time easy.
Regards Andrew.
Looks heaps good man, nice to see someone doing their own stuff..
How'd your finger heal up after the stanley knife.
being in the trade you get to a point where you go oh ok another cut and keep working, you may notice some blood here and there in the pics...lol
i have a video of the run at calder, just looking how to post it somewhere now.
Regards Andrew.
youtube.com would be good for that
damn nice..
how much did the kit set u back??
i've got the tein coils overs and k-mac camber kits coming on monday. i'll be doing some chasse mods also. this will help the car keep the weight over the front wheels and inturn run a better number. not too sure about using slicks with this d16y4 gearbox, dont want to break it just yet.
Regards Andrew.
Sould be back at the track in 3 weeks.
if you are interested ring AVO and get a price excluding the Link ECU, and i'll beat it.
Regards Andrew
Well the recommended retail price on their website for a B Series Turbo kit is
[Integra GSR] Type R Turbo System $3,919.00 with a 400hp turbo and
320 hp turbo is 3599
No ecu or fuel pump. and no injectors.
oh thats us dollars btw
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4DgWp6edls link to the video,

sooo....u actualli sell these kits?
i can get them. but im not in the possition to be quoting everbody who maybe thinking about going turbo. I'd rather somebody who can workout on their own what its going to cost and then come to me, dont take this the wrong way but i dont have time to deal with tyre kickers. If people are going to do it they will have the money, it all depends on who they want to give it to. With me i like to only deal with people who are serious, id rather meet them and talk to them about what they want/expect and give them that at a cheaper price, but i wont do crapy cheap ass doggie work as in the end they wont be happy and i'll look bad. i'd rather turn them away. I do enjoy doing the work, going to the track and racing with them. It really is fun to be part of it all. The Civic is owned by a close female friend of mine, and it has been nothing but fun and smiles all the way. I set out to run a 13.9 the first time out and ran a 13.885, after that we went back to my place and had pizza and beers, it was a great night for all involved.
Regards Andrew.
550cc Injectors? They're a bit big aren't they? ;)
Nice work!
550's are pretty common in kits. Almost all the Edelbrock kits have a 440cc or 550cc, I think Drag's all have 550cc and Greddy too unless it's an extreme kit, I've seen up to 1000cc in some.
that was an EK1 right?
what kit from AVO did you use? (part numbers?)
the website is hopeless and looks like its only for B-series engines
oh... and looks to be for an american market
13.8 ! not bad not bad nice vid. :)
I was hoping everyone would realise it was joke in relation t a recent argument about injector size. The smiley should have been a giveaway.Quote:

I will post if i will be going to Calder for sure. Everybodys invited to come out and watch and have a chat.
Thanks for the replys and support.

Regards Andrew.
awesome work.
on a scale of 1-10, what sort of technical skill competence do u think u would need to have to do the turbo install by urself?
it depends on how much additional work you are doing such as new ECU, injectors etc!
