Gsi, civic then the accord. if the drivers were all the same.
civic then teg then accord. ive raced a vti accord and beat him by 1/2 a car or so so should be pretty even between all 3 cars..
I'd go the GSI!
Same, GSi over the VTi.
GSi, especially if it is the 107kw spec
Isnt there only 1 spec of GSi?
There was an update in 97 to the 107kw version from the older version, which was either 98 or 102kw.... can;t remember, but the update of body came with engine updateQuote:

it should be teggy ahead easily enough, with the civic and accord very close (civic just pipping the accord)
Gsi over civic easily
1995 GSI = Kerb Weight 1146kg from www.drive.com
i thought the gsi was more like 1190kg but maybe this includes air con, sunroof etc. someone have a look in your manual....
I thought they were all 107kw? What is the difference that allowed the extra 3kw or so?Quote:

Yeah I'd say the GSi... Accord is too cumbersome/heavy (I'm not speaking from experience, so might be wrong) and the Civic underpowered SOHC :)
any and every race is driver dependant... you can't get one person driving all three cars at the same time...
i raced an accord vti manual with my si..pulled away in 1st - 2nd..and end of 2nd
dunno bout the gsi...wouldn't mind giving it a run
i agree with dc2r
=)
especially when your talking a fairly even match up like this.
series 1 GSi was 107kw
series 2 GSi was 101kw
series 2 gsi less power then a series 1 ??!?
i dont think thats right....
dont all b18b's have 107kw ????
i ran a vtir teg(stock) in my brothers 98 vti coupe(stock cept for sri), 1st we we'r even 2nd he stared to pull by a bit tehn 3rd by half a car. civic's arent tat bad except for the breeze -_-
civic
i'll race a civic vti in my accord vti and i promise you i will rape it all day long
that h22a will probably help your situation  i'll put a B18c in my car then we'll have a run :PQuote:

well from exp. when my accord had the stock f22b non vtec SOHC auto... i bet a civic VTI. and to think i was AUTO. omg lol. but yeah.. GSI, then accord then a car length later civic
well i ran a VN commodore against my stock ek1 sohc no vtec and i won because he didnt know i was dragging him. man..we should get one central body to do research, put all the specs of stock cars up including power and times so then you can do your own comparison.
hahahahhaQuote:
