Mugen Wing on Euro
Well it has been a long time in making but finally it is complete (6 months). You may ask why it took so long but when I ordered the Wing ...Mugen had not made them yet...Then shipping as well ...had to go by sea....And Last of all the rear section on my car required alot of work as I had the OEM spoiler on the car....(BTW unless you are really hard core and have the OEM spoiler then don't do it.. The Boot requires multiple repairs after the OEM spoiler is replaced. The boot will require respraying then the quater panels as well to colour blend). But then end result is hot ..these photos were taken in the dark I will take some better ones in the light. ...What do you think.

i think u need some better pictures..
-
These are like Chris' teaser shots of his exhaust! Some day photos would be great Peekay but I can see already that this looks a hell of a lot nicer than I was expecting.
Doesn't look as high as the DC5R wings people have fit to the Euro and that is a good thing!
There is definately now no mistaking your Euro for anyone elses that is for sure.
-
As I said when I get some day light I will....Thanks for you comments Yfin....I know what you mean....difference this one was designed for the Euro
-
hmmmm
not a fan.....but each to their own.
i like the mugen bodykit wing/spoon spoiler/M3 spoiler
but if u went with the JDM racer look then i think it will look okay.
I can also see u have the EURO R badge. I say get rid of the EURO badge which is next to the ACCORD badge. Then it will look sweet as
Heres some pics of an AZINE member with mugen kit with ur mugen wing. Not bad

looks very nice....
and much betta looking than dc5 wing on the euro..
btw...how much did the wing cost ya?
-
Nice! I had the almost exact same style on my Civic and it looked mad, but many people mentioned it looked like a shopping trolly handle so I removed it :(
-
I agree. That wing looks very nice. I'm one of those people who believe that the Euro is one of the Honda's that look better without the OEM wing.
But after seeing your pics, I have to say it doesn't look too bad at all!
-
that's hot. I like it.
Isnt the wing made for the 06 model euro?
Would it matter?
-
Na it should be the same.
-
yea that looks hot
where bouts did you get it? cost?
-
Hot wing! is that genuine or copied?
-
Finally PK!!! Looking good! Check out that badge!!!!
Now can I organise a shoot? :)
-
It is Genuine and yes off the 06 mugen Euro parts list. The lid is no different to any of the Euros so would fit all years. Definitly not a Fake. The cost well depends what you call cost I paid approx $800 + shipping now that is the expensive part EMS would not ship it as too big. By Airfreight from Japan anywhere up to $600 (I was quoted). Went by sea but that was very expensive as well. Revzone in Nunawading got it for me as they have contacts.
Cost the fit major major task lucy my Father in Law is in the Trade or other wise forget it for me anyway. The boot lid needed welding to cover the OEM holes. Respray of boot lid quater panels up to roof line to colour match.
And yes we can finally do the shoot (Have not got the Hondatech Exhaust on at the moment as it is being sent over seas to copy but never mind). Just let me know when.

-

WHAT THE HELL IS THAT A EURO SHOPPING TROLLY!
that as bad an excel wing which has been riced up are u trying to make ur car fly
TOTALY DISGUSTED !
-
Its not that bad dude, I mean I had one on my Civic and it looked like a trolly big time, but this one actually looks ok and suits the car :)
-
i agree that it is rice.....
but it doesnt look TOOOOOOO bad
i mean ive seen worse....
-
Well since you are totally disgusted write to Mugen and tell them and they can't design for shite ...you are entilted to you opnion ..... but I like the look it is my car and I am happy with it.
-
Great work Peekay. I don't like wings on the Euro generally but yours is much better than the OEM or the DC5R wing.
Do you find that you get a bit more attention on the roads now?
-
Nice mods Peekay!!!! Love your mods!!Simple+Sporty!!!
What you need now are aftermarket exhaust and rims!
-
Thanks ....I have an after market exhaust and extractors they are not fitted to the car at the moment as they are being copied for sale for the general market. If you did not know my car was the test jig for Hondatech (Hondata Aus) for a performance exhaust, Hondata ECU update and Extractors system.
I will not change the wheels as I like the Rims, they were made for the EuroR so I will stick with them.
And yes YFIN especially in shopping centres people think it is a shopping trolley.....not
-
Maybe you should paint your rims to white!
-
To me you car looks like a excel at the back and a camry from the front, euros arnt made for sporty looks should b a nice and elegant look
and wats with all the rain protectors? and whats thats thing on your sunroof looks like sum aerodynamic from nasa,
Anyways thats my personal opinion good luck with your future performance modds :)
-
the wing looks good for me, but dunno abt the sunroof bit
-
lol honda accord euro trolly?
it looks good, and a euro can go either way, sport or classy
