double posted....and yeh.....u've lost power coz 4" tip is friggen huge no back pressure.....go for something smaller man.....seriously...i'd stick with stock !
anyone want to buy a jetspeed eg1 side skirks
you might wanna delete that ^^ reply, as you cant sell anything yet
2nd you spelt your thread name wrong its canon ...
and yes you did loose power due to 4inch tip... who did this for you?
and did you choose the 4inch tip ?
ErRrRrr!!..
i dont think the size of the canon tip has anything to do with the power??
if your exhaust system is 2.25 all the way and the inlet of the canon is 2.25.. then it should be fine.
can u be more specific... is it like this through every gear?Quote:

hmmmz
well first of all...
2.5 inch exhaust system is way too big for a 1.6 litre engine....
recommended for a 1.6 = 2inch.
all I know for N/A cars 2.5 inch is maximum you can use for not losing any power. cos of losing pressure
change the piping to 2" (if it's 1.6L and 2.25" for 1.8 - 2L). The cannon won't matter, just adds the noise.
If you don't want change ur piping size, then go turbo, and 2.5" becomes fine :)
2 and 1/4 inch all the way
theres nothing wrong with the clutch.
^.. oh ok then
its good knews then
well do u guys know anyone that is sellin a muffler for my em1,
 maybe you need to learn to spell too. its a 'cannon' not a 'canon'Quote:

nothing wrong with going upto 3inches in an NA car. i went 2.5 mandrel because i kne of the BIG NA plans i had in advance and require the breathing space.
as for back pressure, yes you lost quite a bit for a marginal gain in top end. lucky for you that you got a cannon. you can purchase the N1 silencer designs seperately in your size and plug it in.... gave me enough backpressure back
here... perfect!!!
