not bad ay
Tell us more? Whats your setup to get them sort of figures? I didnt think a B20 was that capable without a turbo.
itr head with toda B and toda valve springs and toda cam gears b20 bottom end with hi comp cp piston and eagle rod running a power FC
good stuff
can i ask you where u dyno and how much was it
Ambient Temp: 20 degree
Intake Temp: 19 degree
 Good dyno numbers and smooth graph
kool very nice man. my mate's b20 got similar numbers on the toda dyno too. Spec C cams though
Awesome figures!!! Looking forward to see what it will do down the quarter.
thats an awesome numbers man.
who built the motor for you?
i was about to say nice torque curve... then realised there was no curve... nice numbers
bottomend was build by toda and the rest of the assemble was dont by my self.Quote:

Nice. What compression pistons are you using? Is it sleeved?
nice numbers!!!
using 11.5 comp piston but after decking the block and machining the head would be close to 11.8 11.9 ..Quote:

It is normal power. What size of exhuast are you using?
just got back from eastern creek man my clutch is slipping
first run 13.8 on 2.2 60ft at 101 mph
second run 13.8 on 2.1 60ft at 98 mph
third run 13.7 on 2.1 60ft at 98 mph
:(
Nice times!!!
the run looked ok from where i was sitting... sounded pretty quick :)
Must be slipping pretty badly...
Out of interest, how much power did tinkerbells old B20 setup make, and what time did he pull?
y dun u post up pics of ur car?
i think u need soem visor and HID
probably because there is a $10k engine package under the hood.
tinkerbell had around 120KW from his b20 in a da9 and he did 13.7
really good for your first run man, looked pretty good from where i was sitting too, get a new clutch , next time hope you will hit low 13's : )
good stuff mate.
wanna donate me the type R box? lol
chuck those tyres out and get some new ones hehehehehe...
congrats on the time. Hopefully ill line you up next time.lol
i hope so considering my car is a eh9 that weigh over 1100+ kiloQuote:

getting a 2.2 60ft at 101mph just shows that it could be a better launch
#81 is the one adrian usually uses on dyno days - pulling out a higher reading.
you can't compare a DA with an EG sedan. There's a weight difference. But from your mph, your car either not really making that much power or your clutch is slipping real bad. The times are similar to our Eg sedans. We are getting 13.8/9 with our H22 and B18CR eg sedans also at the 100mph mark. Both these engines unopened.
 :thumbsup:Quote:

Should be the clutch problem. Time to ORC now.
a low low 13sec is possible..
practice more, you'll scared the sxxt outta some REx and v8...

I wouldn't worry too much about the power output until you run it at the strip...Quote:

What sort of RPM are you taking it to?
8000rpm. Previous owner was taking it to 9000rpm with a worked head. Guess we wait and see.
was the previous owner running that much comp?Quote:

oh well, time will tell. all i can say is all the best :thumbsup:Quote:

Yo Keit, clear your inbox.
Yes he was, it's the same bottom end. Adrian might or might not remeber but his the one that tuned it last year (white ek [EKB20]).Quote:

MPH is down quite a bit for that sort of power, clutch must be real bad!!
lol , ok ill be waiting....lol waiting for you at the finish line.......lol
In all honesty kiet, i personally think that the car can run much faster with the amount of torque and power it makes.
