OK guys, this should hopefuly be my last question as all the other have thankfully been answered by some helpful people.
I'm just wanting to know what are the main lifting points on a B16a and ZC(I'm hoping in the same possition as d16a/8 but could be different). I've found one below the radiator hoses and a huge threaded hole type thing at the rear or the Head just below the cam cover. I'm prosuming i have to insert a high tensile steel bolt into that to lift it? Thanks guys appreciate any help.

I useually put a bolt in that threaded hole new the top hose with an anchor on it. connect the chain to the anchor, then the other side on the oppisite side of the head by the intel manifold I put another anchor. out she cumz

yep thats the anchor point #2, I just connect a ( hook thing ) to thoes mofo's clip the chain on and up you go

So i have to find another one like that? Or are they both the anchor points?

I would use the one near the top hose and the one in your pic above, both on the Head. this will provide a better center of gravity while its in the air. using the one on the gearbox will make it a trapiez act as its in the center.

i found 2 possible other ones... One on the diaginal opposite the one on the passenger manifold side of the head OR a similar one on the drivers side manifold side of the head... which one out of those 2 :? Sorry to keep pestering like this.

Use the one on the Passanger side of the head in the photo above, this side is the inlet side ( not exhaust ) by cyl 1 and crank pulley. the other side will be on the exhaust side of the head near the top hose ( the one you found originallly ) its the cyl 4 (flyuwheel ) side of the head.
they must be on diaganols to each other

yeah... the pic is of the inlet side :P but thats kool I found them both... I couldn't see the other one because theres a small bolt in it. Obviously I've found it now though :P

just make sure your not looking at the cooling system bleed bolt,( its got a hole in it) I think its on the top hose housing anyway.

OK Just so i dont bolt it all up wrong :P I just put a Bolt or one of those bolt things with a chain on it into that whole on the back of the head (intake side, near the cam gears) and on the whole down on the top of the gear box where a little braket sits to hold all the wires down there. and thats it... no other locations?

Yep try to use the anchor as a bolt thru the chain can be dangerous
you can find these anchors on other engines, just unbolt them and bolt them onto your engine

Ok Kool I have to get my maintanace crap tomorow SO i'll head off to a wreckers to take a look for an anchor. I'll put one of those back up saches aroudnd the engine just to be safe... be enough to hold it for a few seconds while i lower it.
