Hey pplz just went & dynoed my car at DRC (Dynamic Racing Concepts) and got 102.0Kws @ the wheel with 265.0NM of Torque.
I know it isnt much considering the fact im running stock ECU & stock fuel pump (1.6L)
What u guys reckonz for a B18C with I/E/H and BC3+ cams.

seems a bit low for the amount of mods. is it vtir or type R?

but not bad, i'd still thought it would of gotton more, i guess change pump, and get a ecu, and retune maybe, should be able to yield more results.
but still, not bad for a light weight hatch back.
btw, stage 3 cams, a bit overkill? correct me if i'm wrong.

no one is commenting on the 265nm of torque? obviously an incorrect reading a b18c has nowhere near that much torque

okay.. 265nm is a bit high.. fly's b20vtec has 300nms of torque.
does torque figures depend on dyno as well?
BUT, if you do actually have 265nm of torque, congrats to you, alot of torque for such little efforts.
That is a lot of torque to have at the wheels for a N/A 4cyl.
S15s have 265nm stock but not at the wheels
Gearbox is a torque multiplier.

The other thing I noticed is the SAE correction factor is 2.19???
Though I don’t use this type of dyno, but the most our dyno dynamics atmospheric correction ever goes is + or – 0.2 or there abouts from 1. Usual is 0.9~0.95.
Also of note are the A/F ratios…
Figures looks ok. I wouldn't say low or high. There a car floating around, Stock vti-r motor, with the same mods as you beside the cams, he's running sotck cams and pulling 112 kw atw. He's got 1/4 mile time to back it up.
The a/f looks abit on the rich side. Might make 1 -2 kw more if lean it out abit.

The interesting thing to note, is correction factors this high, are typically "manually" entered or overwritten on the mainline.

yeh im gonna look further into getting bigger injectors n fuel system aswe;; as get an aftermarket ECU & adjust the cams since I dont think they been dialed in yets at all.
for a car thats poorly dyno'd it still eats v8's =D

With your setup you do not need to upgrade the injectors or fuel system,just get a good ECU and someone that knows how to tune a Honda engine.Quote:

1st run i got 16.2 with loads of wheel spin.
2nd run i ran didnt know when 2 launch coz the lights were stuffed = 17.0
and the last one i just dumped it and got 15.0

i know of a friend that had a gtr and ran a 15.00 first run LOL !
but then he backed it up with a 11.80
go back before you get the mods. run the same tyrse, just approach it differently. the time doesnt actually start until you cross the start line.. so you can sit on the green light for a good 3seconds, and it wont affect your final time. :)
i havent been there b4 but id bet everyone would laugh at my time lols

what does everyone think john will run after the cam gears + ecu with a dyno tune? low 14's? or high 13's?
