Good for use as a snow plow :D
wouldn't want to drive that to the shops...
Opinionated response;
looks like poo :thumbdwn:
Like it
Thats awesome for $900 you can turn your car into supercar looks.
dont like the front bar, rest looks nice...
Veilside kit for DC5R is just plan Ugly. Well that's my 2 cents.
Only best option i reckon, would be Mugen Or Cwest they're just plan SEX!!
that kit looks like FLY R's
I wont put it on even they pay me..the shittest ever
when i first saw this kit a few months back. it was going for bout 2k. always wanted it. if they would replace the front bar with something else. 1050 or so ain't a bad price.
^
Nice from far, FAR from NICE.
nice pic, but yea i agree with the rest,.. change the front to a mugen one..
yep i agree with everyone else. the front bar is too in your face. And imagine going over speed bumpers with that. U wont be able too.
i like it alot. probably because itll make your car look diffferent from everyone elses on this forum.
there's alot of gap between the rubber and the front guards... and if you're looking to fill that gap up, good luck trying to get over speed humps and cigarette butts.
not really a fan of kits that are too extreme. this is one of em.

Just because the price of the kit is good, there should be a few things you should consider before purchasing.
Firstly, what material is made out of? Is the kit fibreglass or urethane or better? How is it internally strengthened? How many layers of fibreglass were used if it is indead fibreglass? Were they hand layed sheets or machine blown? Knowing these things will help determine how strong the kit is and if it will hold up to abuse.
Next, how is the fitment. As others have said, having gaps between the kit and the original fenders not only makes the body look uneven but also can cause major headaches in actually getting the kit to mate onto the car in the first place.
How is the kit finished? This may impact on costs of painting due to extra time required in preperation.
I have heard/read of a number of horror stories of people who have bought 'good value' kits that end up costing them three times as much just to make fit onto the car. I believe the trick is to ask lots of questions of the individuals supplying the kit and try to find others who can vouch for the business and quality of the kits. In some cases the business that supplies the kit will let you test fit the product or install/paint it for you, so that is another option to think about.
Hope that is of some help to the original poster or anyone else.
Great price, but I seriously doubt it is a genuine kit.
Its most likley a inferior copy of the Veilside kit.
The great price would be outweighed by the crappy quality. Inferior materials, finish and fitting.
Thats from my experience.
Just a question, will 2002+ RSX Acura Parts (Body kit, Lambo Door, CF Bonnet) in USA/Canada fit the DC5 S here in Aus?
genuine kit will cost probably at least $5K more. i think its OK. the DC5 is a sports car after all, not VIP or lux so u can be outrageous if u like.
front bar looks awful, skirts & rear are pretty nice. maybe just get the skirts & rear?
depends what parts
but if you are going to buy parts from the USA/Canada, you might want to look for 2005+ RSX parts. The new facelifted model..
for example, the stock strut bar is different, so hence engine torque dampers made for these two models are slightly different, obviously bodykit is different, and also the suspension's spring/damper rate is different (can't remember if it's either/or or both)
Tein SS and Mugen are the two brands that i know of first hand that has two suspension kits (two Tein SS for DC5) because of the two models.
