ill post before and after pics later on im gonna wind her down i cant wait
how much r u lowering it?
Tein SS ? :)
Curious to see, im wanting to get some soon! :)
yeah the ss
i wanna lower it to the rim if possible just hope it doesnt rub
maybe 3 or 4 inchs
ill let you know how it goes
They are adjustable yeah?
Whats the mix+max you can adjust it?
yeah there adj
not sure how low they go
they can go a bit over 3" max
play safe.
don b too excited, so u wont get major disapointment :)
why do you think disapointment
and yr tyres going to wear out a lot faster
cool thanks guys i cant wait to see it loward ive been driving around with king springs on standerd shocks and it just doesnt look like it should
how much are the camber kits
Have you got a picture of the car on king springs with standard shocks?
if so could u do a before with king springs and after with teins :)
Look forward to seeing it!
will do i have some pics somewhere
Hi guys sorry i dont have the pics yet put i put the coilovers in yesterday
what i can say the car rides 100 times better more stiffer no bounce like standerd feels really tight good handling aswell im really happy
but i couldnt lower it by another inch from the kingsprings the place said i need to get an alignment first and then they would try and lower it more
if you look at the back of the car looks like the back wheels are not centred the left one is sticking out of the guard more than the right side does anyone know why that is??
will an alignment fix that???
lol one is sticking out more? Are both wheels at the same angle?
An alignment should fix up the minor camber difference, but you'll ultimately need a camber kit to get the wheels vertical again.
How many centimeters/millimeters did you lower it, front and back?
Make sure you've lower both rear struts by the same amount.
Hey where did you get them from?
Also, when you say stiffer does that mean it rides harder? I need mine to ride softer i.e. not feel bumps
u need to do the wheels, the coilovers things and then after that alignment.. that will helps... btw, is this roy? where u got your ss and where is the place fitting ur coilover?
i got them from a trader on this site ed max honda power
Chasers fitted the coilovers no this is not roy sorry
its not a harsh ride just feels harder compared to stock
You'll need a rear camber kit, especially if you want to dump it. Otherwise your rear will be like -7 degree camber, and tyre wear will be a problem.
that's weird
i am fine even without wheel alignment but of coz i did it for my tyres.
it cant be very stiff but can as well soft like standard so you dun have to worry about the ride quality.
You'll need a rear camber kit if you want to adjust how much the wheels tilt out of the guard. You can only adjust the toe when stock.
does anyone know how to calculate how much a wheel will lean in or out in mm after changing the camber?
You'll gonna need camber kit guys if you dumped your car more than 2.5 inch espcially with wide rims. I used to have 8.5-9.5 rims and dumped it for approximately 2.5 inch and the tire only last for 1 year and sadly it was P Zero tyre so ain't worth just for looks, If you wanna dumped very low, do it in proper way, get the alignment kits and very good suspension setups.
are you serious aaronng?
or are you making it up? hahaha.. wow.. intelligence
Don't you remember your maths? Sine = Opposite / Hypotenuse
(there will be some error as when the wheel is slanted, you get a little extra right angle triangle at the top. Just solve both equations simultaneously and you get the exact answer. For a rough estimate, just do it for 1 triangle.
LOL I don't remember my maths anymore. Not that I know the English for those formulas (was educated overseas prior to Uni)
does anyone have the link to the inglss kit
Here you go

Thanks for the comments

lip kit would do just fine.
btw, what colour is your car. it almost looks dark blue ? I thought they didnt come out in dark blue..
yeah its a bluey purple color
lookin goooood.
lovin those rims mate, lip kit would just top it off.
They're huge. Much different in acceleration, handling and braking?
LOL at the guy in pic car001-1.jpg having a sticky in the background.
thanks for the comments guys
i wanted it a but lower but what can you do
Does anyone have any pics of these lip kits
