Any ideas what parts I have bent/damaged and will need to replace to return the camber to standard? And approx costs?
I've had enough of this mod!

what happened? whats bent?
rear lower control arm? trailing arm?
shit
looks like psotive +10 camber
:S
lol wot u do?
I'll take a punt....
"Another victim of lift off oversteer"
effect of hafing car to high
came round a bend... not infact going particularly quick... round the bend however, what i hadn't realised, was dirt on the road from recent storms. hit the dirt. slid straight into the curb almost parralell (in line with). *bang* then somehow i think the wheel caught curb, and the rear of the car was airborne for a moment. Probably doing 40km/h. maybe less...
pulled over... had a look... said F**K
See if you can get under there and take a picture of the 'metaly mechanical bits' connected to the wheel/shocks etc. Might be able to see what's bent/broken then.
my friends car looked like that and when he went to the mechanic he said that the axle was broken n a whole heap of shit.
mate i would take it to a mechanic
u most likely have done a lot of damage not only axel, but also the shock, sub frame etc
worst case u could have torn the chassy from the impact
happen to my mates itr
a panel beater told him that he bent the chassis...
hahaha, shit aye, looks like when i did my wheel like sobut mine was negative camber, even when i put a space saver one it was just missed the shock by 1cm. lol.
what i say is.
get a 2nd hand trailing arm (this should also come with the hub and bearing), with upper and lower control arms.
replace that.
your STRUT maybe bent, same as your subframe.
but i'd recommed doing what i said first, and if that fails, it's more likely to be your strut.
and if that fails i might be your subframe. but hey you could of bent your strut tower as well, but i kinda doubt that.
MUST BE THE REAR AXLE!!!
hahahahah
i recently changed my purchased a rear camber kit for my EF2 from MODPROJECT...
but the damage looks more then just the camber arms....
Ok,
there is no rear axle in fwd's.. funny how people are mentioning this.
I would say it is the upper arm.. but it could be a number of things
you really need get it looked at if you dont know what you are doing, and hope it is just a bent or damaged arm, or even bushing and hope that nothing on the body/frame has been damaged
I'd say traling arm or lower control arm.
Most probably control arm cause it would have taken the beef of the force considering the way you hit it.
Jack the car up and take the wheel off and take a pic. Then we'll be able to make better decisions.
G'day,
I've pulled the car to bits today and worked out the problem... I've measured things and compared sides etc and I think the only damage is to the trailing arm, which is well bent.
So. I'm in the market for a trailing arm... anybody?
Photographing the damage proved difficult, but here is a snap of the trailing arm. I also need both inner and outer hub bearings.

Anyone? I think i'll start a WTB thread.
I think these are aftermarket one..
Civic 88-91, CRX 92-95, Del Sol, Integra 94-01

Or
Am i just total wrong...
Thats a lower control arm. It goes from the chassic to the hub, just like the trailing arm, but it goes from a different place.
which is still part of the chassis isn't it??
some people may call it that, i think rear subframe is more of a accurate term.
 no probs man.
