Move the circlip up and own to adjust height, and slip the springs seat over the top, like this

Thats how you adjust the height... then stick it all back together like this

Notice how the spring sits lower than the standard one.. look closely, its not a lot (10m)
Hope that helps answer it for someone... Coilovers are basically the same (some are, some aren;t)
thanks McChook, thats seems understandable in a koni point of view, since there are grooves, and basically you just slot the piece you want to adjust into one of the grooves.

Those are easy. Just use C-Spanners.
best way to do it, is jack up the car and wind them all the way down, then, count the turns as you wind them up again

How accurate are your turns?
I guess it depends on how pedantic you are as well. For me, if you have gone to the extra expense of coil-overs, you want to have them set-up 100% spot-on so that you can make the most of them.
A full-on setup would include corner-weight balancing where scales are placed under each individual tyre. You can then adjust heights to get precise weight proprtions, etc, depending on how you want it setup.
