Depends on what you want, confort vs handling vs tyre life
Have a look at the Tyre Recommendation Thread:

IMO the Yokohama C-Drive's are good, as are the Bridgestone Potenza GIII's
dont buy falken, nankang, ling longs, antyre, cheap sh1t.
buy good stuff - pirelli, bridgestone, yokos, kumho (are OK) - they might just save your life.
As James had said, most of OH will tell you GIIIs or C-Drives :) take your pick :D Compared to each other, GIIIs in the dry perform better and C-Drives in the wet perform better thats what's been said
It's the only thing in contact with your car and the ground.. don't skim on the cheapo makes...
Pirelli, Bridgestones, Continental...
ive never had troubles with cheap tyres, just make sure u got plenty of grip left. if they low change them immediately or at best you'll be changing a tyre on the side of the m4. its up to u on the tyre type, but make sure u always check the tread
I'm awaiting 15" rims as well, I'm getting 205/50 Maxxis put on mine, they came 3rd in the Wheels tyre test 2006 so can't be too bad. They around $100 a corner.
as per my post in the tyre recommendation thread...dunlop sp sport maxx!
wan lee's.
best for no traction.
hahahaha.
jokes.
never skimp out on tyres, ever.
Toyo T1R's !!!
Mine were 205/45 R16.
$174 each. Bargain!
From Tyreworks Moss St, Slacks creek.
Excelent tyre, cheap price. Cant go wrong.
More like freakin' expensive hahaha
I got Potenza GIII too... not a bad tyre indeed. Was $125 a corner a year ago or less.
T1R's have my vote for a street tyre.
$155 a corner 195/55/15.
RT615 are in a different league. They're considered semi's no?
RT615 are replacements for the RT215 if I remember correctly.
I've used RT215 and didn't rate them too well for their price.
T1R > G3 IMO
i have nothing to compare with but i love my RT615's wet or dry, although i do take it easy in wet for obvious reasons with these tyres. but dont expect a whole lot of life in them ;)
Hey mate i just got 195/50 michelin pilot preceda pp2s on my 15s and i couldnt say a bad word about them. Very very sticky silica compound. Handle very well in the wet too and are the quietest tyre ive driven on - bar none..
They arent a cheap tyre. I got wheels and tyres at the same time but if i just wanted tyres it was 170 fitted and balanced per tyre so $680 all up. You are paying a premium but they are an incredible tyre. They make my car so quiet it feels like a newer car. Ive driven on many good tyres in many good cars and ive never driven on any that are any better than this and certainly none quieter. I am 100% happy i forked out the little extra..
T1R is a excelent tyre IMO.
Very sticky and most of all, tread and side wall design is beautiful!
I got mine for 175 per corner, 205/45/16.
My friend got his 195/50/15 for 155 per corner.
price includes fitted and balanced.
im running bridgestone potenza S02. $285 each
difference in tyre is very noticeable in hairy moments or when you're trying to take your car to its limits
if you only use 20% of your cars ability, then even re-treads will do you fine.
really depends on you.
T1R's are pretty decent, nothing wrong with em at all. Personally I'd take GIII's over C-drives. Currently I have Yokohama AVS ES100 15' , unfortunately no longer available in 15', but very good.
Personal choice would be either the g3's or t1r's.
