buy this whilst the US exchange rate is 0.815 cents and do it yourself. I am sure dealers have a similar device but I doubt it will be cheaper than this delivered from the USA (small package so shipping should not be painful)

Where are you in Sydney.I know a good installer on the south side.They installed amps,dynamat,speakers,carkit etc.in my car.They may also be able to supply the adapter thing that you need as well.Quote:

Just shop around for something with reasonable shipping. It really only weighs a few hundred grams at most so places wanting $40US for shipping are just gouging.

ipod plugs into tomtom 710
then i want to plug the tomtom 710 into the car stereo speakers which requires a aux in
can i still use my car cd player with the snhond3 plugged in?

All kind of Ipods will work except the Shuffle since it doesn't have the Ipod connector plug
