h22a sitting here.. no idea.. if JDM or AUDM
can u see the engine code? if it says "H22A" without any numbers after it then its jdm
if there no number behind any engine code means its JDM?
^Yes :)
h22a
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
did the h22a's have generations though ?
like h22a1, h22a2 ?
its says H22a with numbers on bottom.. no idea if jap or not..
its got stock forgies :D
My integra is the same...its says B18c and numbers on bottom does that mean its a jap spec engine?
if the block says B18C5 then its AUDM,
if it says B18C, then it is JDM.
Could be a VTi-R (SiR-G) motor or a Type R.
Strange seeing a JDM motor in an AUDM car
mine just says H22a
numbers on bottom. *** ia m drunk so owneddddddd
i just ripped off the head.. my pistons got curves in em
well, where'd you buy it from what car. or you just buy motor without asking questions
b18c5 is type R in the US. as tripitaka already said
isn't a b18c5 a vtir motor?
wow.. how about H22a's? still clueless..
wat about b16s???
Same deal with B16s tengsta...
If its B16A its JDM Spec yO!
If its got numbers liek B16A2, B16A3, etc then it's not JDM :)
OMFG too many odd answers gents making this very confusing !
B18c
xxxxxxxxxx
JDM SiRg + ITR
ITR has red engine cover = 200ps (147kw)
B18c2
xxxxxxxxxx
AU VTiR = 125kw
B18c5
xxxxxxxxxx
= USDM ITR = 195ps
B18c7
xxxxxxxxxx
= AUDM ITR = 190ps - (141kw)
H22A1
xxxxxxxxxx
= AUDM 142kw
H22A2 / A4
xxxxxxxxxx
= AUDM 147kw
H22A
xxxxxxxxxx
JDM
B16A
xxxxxxxxxx
= JDM SiR 162ps / SiR2 167ps
B16A1
xxxxxxxxxx
= AUDM CRX 117kw(although much debate has it at 118kw)
B16A2
xxxxxxxxxx
= AUDM Civic VTiR 118kw
I have also seen:
B18
xxxxxxxxxx
but im not saying whos car it is in :P
But lets just say its a monster of an engine !
nice nice!!!
basicly with the engines if its say B16A2 with the engine number that follows that means its AUDM.....if its just B16A with the engine number following, then that should be JDM.....thats wat everyone is pretty much saying
would anyone be able to tell me what engine this is by this number?
B18C1902***
hehehe wikid
mi engine says b16a
wooo hoo
yeah depends where the dash is
could be
B18C1- 902*** (gsr)
or
B18C- 1902*** (jdm type r or sir-g)
whats more powerful: a b18c or a b18c5?
theres a yellow dc4 going around with b18c1 motor in it.
previous owner was on this forum.
engines find there way here all kinds of ways.
Theres also a civic with JDM B18cR motor in it that has been used in Sepang as part of the Super GT and BTCC then found its way into an ITR which set the <2000cc lap record at Barbargallo Raceway then was transplanted into a civic which now drives around the streets of Melbourne :)
do u ever shut up about that thing adam?
ok i know about the c5 and the c5. . . but ur saing that the actual b18c is in two different cars?
u mean page 1? lol i know. i can read jus didnt know there were two different engines for b18c. . . or is the engine the same but in two different cars?
this is the car i speak of

looks to have been thrashed and bingle, front end doesnt line up (bonnet gaps are different on each side, bumper doesn't align with bonnet for guards)
jdm cars don't have numbers stamped after the original engine number..
e.g. b18c (jdm) vs. b18c2 (audm)
so when checking out jdm b18c's, you'll have to spot the cosmetic differences when identifying the type r and the standard sir engine (like intake manifold - assuming it's still stock)
jelousy will get you nowhere Panda :)
jus look for the big "made in japan" sticker
yes. thats what i have, the SIR... or GSR in american terms
so the b18c from a jdm ITR is more powerful?
