NEED HELP Building a engin for civic

Hi

I am new to OZ-honda and i need help to decide on what engine to choose for my civic i am buying another one due to macive crash that happened on jan 6th

i want to make the fastest civic i am looking do make street/drag car

i am looking for any help i can get i am even looking for the best platform for the chaise i was thinking a 1995 Honda civic GLI EG4

get an eg4 and chuck a k20a in it!

and what power am i looking at with a K20 cos im looking for as much power as i can get i wanna push the 500HP mark

i dont think there would be anything left of the car if you hit a wall with that..

I think you should build a Turboed K26.. and dump it in the eg body.. Your car'll probably be at the finish line and you're still at the start... But do note that you'll never be able to corner in such a monster.. :thumbdwn:

you need some help spelling first, and then maybe someone will give you help with your engin fully sick macive!

im lucky there were 4 of us in the car i was the driver 3 of us almost died and i dont know how we all survived but we did and the 100K is a limit that i am willing to go up to to build this civic if it only takes me 20K im happy but i set this limit i know its huge and ppl think im crazy but its the limit i set to get a car im happy with

... I'm not happy with that answer :p no way anyone could survive that crash. Look at it, I mean the roof is squashed in would have at least killed the 2 people, and the civic isn't the safest car on the road in terms of crash protection now is it

the roof is squashed cos they cut it off to get us all out cos the doors were stuck closed trust me im alive and all my friends are alive or i would never build a civic the car has never failed me and no one is dead so i have decided to build another one i took more damage than anyone in the car if had a scanner i would scan my x-rays to show you all the metal in my body mad i got enough in there to build one from scratch

be real and notice that i have set it as a limit cos life is short and ok if you think its stupid thats your opinion and as for the matter of it i had 100K i wouldn't be driving a civic your right i prob wouldn't but i only got the cash as compo cos of smashing my car and ending up in hospital and now i wont be able to run any more but at least i will be able to walk like a normal person but get it right im not a rich kid i just got a good settlement from compo and if you still don't believe me i don't care cos im not here to prove my self to anyone

and for that matter i only set 100K to not settle for less quality and go for the cheap option like many ppl do i wanna ride that i can be proud of and yeah if its stupid and crazy to put that much cash in a civic then im Both

and if i spend 30k and i get something i like and i have no problem with that and then i save the rest and party of go travel the world but i don't know and im not saying that i will put 100K in the civic i just say its by limit i will never go over it

hmm 100k on a civic..... you probably wouldnt need more than $50,000 to get a crazy civic, 15000 to buy it and then like 35000 on mods? correct me if im wrong people...

But to the guy, if ur seriouse. Get a LS1, do RWD conversion (its been done b4) and ull prolly still have change from $100,000. Seen an LS1 in a vectra in the UK. Looks very nice indeed.

build an EG with k20head, k24block, bored out to 2.6 litre, and turbo it.
do it within a year.

they have both been done a V8 winsor in a eg and the rear wheel drive eg with a s2000 engine both RWD put i prefer to stay as FWD

1) Take a 92 EG Breeze to a skid pan and see if you can handle it competently;

2) If you couldn't do the above; don't even contemplate a 500hp conversion, when you couldn't even handle 100hp to begin with.

3) Buy yourself a Volvo - I heard they have a plethora of airbags.

4) Don't buy a turbo Volvo.

Sorry for being somewhat facetious, but your accident is a clear indication that you have driving issues that need to be addressed. I wouldn’t like to image the damage you could've caused if you did have a 500hp conversion.

Well you want to know more about the crash i was on a 2 lane street with a Cliface on my left and the person that Hit me was

a 38yo Ozzy
with no drivers License and the police checked with the RTA and he had never applied even for his learners License
and on top of that
was speeding at what the Crash investigation unit said at over 180klph
and was on 3 different types of drugs in his system

now you know that there was No where for me to go and the crash investigation unit said that i did everything i could to minimize the crash

So you should wake up to your self and not be so smug ale you could have done was ask a Question but it seems you wanted to Be a Smart ass:thumbdwn:

got an EG4 that was Striped down and sprayed in and out to a nice simple Silver

worked up the Breaking system with a 5 stud conversion and 4 wilowood breaks all round

Increased Frame strength to handle the engine and to minimize body roll

Full roll cage with custom seat Mounts to allow head space

got it all engineer certified and all ready for engine

i have Pretty much got the car Looking Like i want it to but i have had such a Huge struggle with what Power plant to Putin it

but other than that its been Pretty much been Hiding out in my garage just to keep it all under raps since i am not looking to make it look fast as im looking for a Stock look from the outside tho you can see the Roll cage through the Dark tint i put on it

and Trust me i have no Hurry i have all the Time in the world

i just want to get it to the Point that i am happy with it

and of course Goes hard when i want to Push it on the Track
