Forum/website upgrade and cleanup - Sunday 10 June 2007

Hi all,

An upgrade and cleanup is planned for this weekend and details are as follows.

Date: Sunday 10 June 2007
Time: 9:30am to 3:30pm AEST
Affected: Everyone. The site will be shut down meaning you cannot read/reply to threads or check your PMs.
Details:
The following is to be carried out
1. vBulletin upgraded to the latest stable version
2. Any Lounge threads not replied to in the last 6 months deleted. So if there any threads you want saved just bump them up with a reply.
3. Marketplae threads not replied to in the last 6 months deleted (only applies to Parts for Sale, Cars for sale, What/Where to buy and Wanted to Buy forums).
5. Users with 0 posts and who haven't logged on in the last 6 months removed (warning email sent first)

Post back here if you have any concerns. Looks like a day at home for me on Sunday *sigh*

damn...thats is long ass close....get up 2am and start wyn that way u can finish earlier :)

Nps Aaron...its long overdue so yeah. What takes the longest isn't the actual upgrade but templates/mods/any customisations etc

how about threads that have been closed by mods or the opener due to sale or irrelevance?

As you can see this didn't quite happen today. A few unexpected things came up so I'll be looking at getting this done next weekend instead most likely. Sorry all!
