Yeah a bit slow in getting a licence but I've lived and worked in the city for some years and walk 5 mins to work each day.
I'm from Melb mate and haven't bought one yet. I've been on a massive information binge so I don't get ripped off.
Yeh, look around, do your research.
Theres some nice ones around as well as crappy ones so just keep your eye open.
Theres lots of info on the forums about buying a DC2R so search around and you'll get pleanty of info to suck in. :thumbsup:
WELCOME Barge_Ass. nice nick. And soon to be nice car too. I sat in a yellow DC2R once when it first came out in a carshow....that was as close as I got to driving it :D

Picked up my lil DCR2 with my girl yesterday. Hadn't driven it yet and boy was I surprised.
God I still suck at driving! Although my girl playing with everything and turning up the heater and radio to full was a little distracting.:p
It takes off like buggery when you give it just that little extra. I hope I have a few more great years ahead with this little gem.
It sucks to be my age and just starting out but hey you gotta do it sometime better late than never.
