hey guyz i got a b18c7 i got alll internals its fine 2 me its funn with the b series but my mate has a k20a and its goes good man its realli up 2 u what u want u noe so0 yeah thats from my opion b or k doesnt matter depends on what u want.....cheerz NAB16A

If money isnt the issue, of course the K20 engine is the more preferred.

man why dont you just strock out and boost a k24 i mean it would cost like 20,000 to do all that but it would be sweet until it blows up after 20,000km beacuse of the 13,000rpm revs and the 40psi boost..... but it would be fun
p.s go the k20 displacement is almost always going to when if your staying n/a
why is a b series more fun then a k series?
b series is more fun becoz there alot 2 do to the b series the k series its no fun becoz there not much work coz they hav alot of power thats what i think
K series seem to be the preferred motor atm.
If you look at the b18c7 motors in the F.s section... there at a good price but no one seem to buying them. While there's alot of k20a and k20 hybrids build going on. So IMHO k seem to be the flavor atm.
Both engines are great....but how deep is your pocket...? You also need to consider other mods as well such as brakes, suspension, tuning, ecu, etc etc. You gotta pay for play :eek:.

Car is a totally street car with full interior trims, still running air conditioning and a sunroof.
All engine work and tuning has been performed by Adrian from Toda Australia.
I do my own suspension installation, alignment and setup
BUT
on Hindsight, if choosing a B Series engine...always go for the B18C, there's a whole lot more potential there and the prices are about the same anyway.
Thanks alot guys but money isnt an issue, I was thinking of getting a cheap b series and then conversion to K20a. I prefer the looks of B series.

but the k series looks so much prettier! you dont see jaws drop as much as wen someone with an eg pops open the hood and you see a kseries motor
