im planning to get these next week or so... what does everyone think? i hear its illegal to have coloured lights/halos but other say different. I'm not sure if they shine white light through that blue stuff either or blue light? i dont know much about projector lights really haha ..So yeah :wave:

i got it th similar 1 as your with black not chrome :) the light still come on the same.. and look much better + doesnt hurt peoples eye when u get hid :)
where are u planning 2 buy these froms? and yes i heard coloured halos (not white) are illegal.

from melbourne but imported from america i think, friend was getting it for me. I can also get the same ones but with white halos.. but the projector bits dont look blue and look crappy lol, probably go with the safer ones i guess, thanks everyone!Quote:

recently got a 98 accord and wouldnt mind these if they aint to pricey.
The only problem with using those lights is the beam pattern. Since USA car are LHD the beam will rise on the right side instead of the left. This will cause on-coming cars to flash their lights on you as they think ur on hi beams. Below is a pic of what i mean. It may seem not much but if your distance away it make a huge different.

dont new cars have halos with the blue rings? i think the new honda jazz's, i always seem to be driving and see cars with a tint of blue in their headlights

Yeah my friend got aftermarket lights for his euro and they shine so hard and blind you, always looks like highbeams!! honda dealers "fixed" it for him but didnt make it look different at all, and cops didnt seem to mind unless its coloured.Quote:

There are prescribed colours that a car may emit from the exterior from the vehicle.
In this instance the example is blue. All blue lights are reserved for emergency vehicles only.
If the example were to change to green; the law remains the same. There are a set of prescribed colours.
At a basic level, the Australian Road Rules at Part 13, Division 1, Regulation 219 states that a driver must not use an external light that will dazzle another road user.........that in itself would prevent the use of a light similar to those described above..........give me a few days when I get back to work on Monday and I can research it more..........:)
