i just got a black bonnet from a wrecker, standard honda colour but after about 18 months the clear was fading and it looked like shyte so i resprayed it in Renault Clio black, the spray painter had some lying around from a previous job so i got is for cheap. Black is black man

IMO get a gloss black would go nice wif silver ..
If your going to pay to get it painted black, it would probably only cost $100 or so more to get your bonnet layed with a single layer of CF.
Go to a place that works with composites and get a quote.
Or if your brave and can fiberglass well, have a go at laying CF yourself, you can buy the fabric at decent prices.

Just your normal bonnet, but with a layer of CF on top instead of a layer of paint.
Would look nicer then black paint, or the CF vinal stickers.

I paid 100 to have mine resprayed, but a cop did ask me it it was painted CF bonett as cf are defectable here in qld, not sure about other states.......so good luck trying to explain that the bonett isn't actually CF just looks like it, either way if you get it done put up some pix
