I've read previous posts about the parker lights for the euro, now i was just wondering on the LED life from those of you who have had experience.
I am now looking to install a set. Which set should i buy?, which set will last the longest?
thanks

I;ve had mine on for over 3 months now and it's still going strong.
i replaced both my parker lights & number plate lights with LED's about 4 months ago, the parkers are still fine however one of my number plate LED's has gone.
I made sure to order a spare when i got them.
I got mine from "superbrightleds.com" they were good to deal with, from what ive seen of other prices available they may be a little expensive comparatively
Because of the light dimming issue with the weak alternator, LEDs don't last too long on our cars. For the parker, I saw about 6 month's worth of use with a good pair. 1 month with a crappy pair.
My left parker is still going strong for over 12 months, whereas the right side went after 8 months.
Considered making a batch for us? :) How much did it cost in materials?
i feel like joining the PICSS :D bandwagon
excuse the quality of the pic, taken on my phone...
ill try get better pics later on... as you can see, it gives a fairly destinctive white line effect (looks better in real life)

cost $30 materials for both sides... fully sealed globes using the original holders and hot glue gun :)
it matches the HID colour perfectly... which is what i wanted
nice
r those 6000K or 8000K HIDs?
Very nice! That would make it about $50-60 to make in total? And then plus shipping. :)
yeah thats about right... i couldve done them cheaper but because i was experimenting i purchased more stuff than i needed lol
the hardest bit is glueing the tube into the holder on the correct angle so it fits in and points straight down the light... (i had to make and remake it a few times, found it easier to put it in with the glue still hot/goey so that i could mould it into place)
nah theyre still stock 4700k HIDs im thinking of getting 6000k tho...
i could make them for people, but i use the original globe holder, so youd have to send that to me, and they do require you to solder onto the park light wireing
oh and yeah they are bright enough :) ALOT more light output either side of the car, and about the same light facing forward...
someone willing to send him the parts, so we can all get a DIY? lol
^^ Labour cost is much higher than parts. :)
Sounds like my last Honda Dealer Car Service x10 :p
Those fluro's look good on the HID Euro's, but they may actually be brighter than the Halogen Euros lolz
Either way, you might get defecting have super bright parkers, bright light is supposed to channel down onto the road.
From his pic, the parkers are not blinding, should still be legal.
has anyone done a DIY on how to install the parkers?? or is it something i can find in the manual..?? is it hard to change?
its simple, turn the wheel to one side, take off 1 or 2 clip, pull the guard down, stick ur hand in, change it and done!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, my right park is disco flashing.
Just get the parkers from JDMConcept, one of our traders. Here's the linkhttp://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=72302
$20 a pair.nice and white.
my other ones are fine, i am thinking it may be the coilovers due to alot of vibrations from the road, loosened the led.
I'll check when i get home from work.
Flashing Led's is a dead set good indication of a knackered Led, the connection is pretty hard to come loose from just vibration. Pick up a new set of LED's on the way and save yourself the trouble. Autobarn stock the jap brand ones and the Monza cheapies I've found the Monza's have been lasting longer than the jap branded ones I used to have.
Like Min988 says, disco flashing means the LED is dead from the voltage fluctuations. It is not caused by your coilovers, but by your fluctuating voltage each time the aircon compressor kicks in. I have used regular LEDs, 6-LEDs, hi-power LEDs and now I have gone back to good old white filament bulbs from Philips.
problem has gone already, i'll wait til they die fully.
http://www.superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html (WLED-WHP LED Wedge Base Bulbs), I bought mine from here 2 years ago and it's really bright, white colour and still last until now. I use it for my licence plate light as well.
