clutch grips really high?

my clutch used to grip lower than now.
not it grips really high, like almost near the point where i let go of the clutch completely..
wat causes this? im thinkin my clutch is wearing out..

my car is a 94 integra gsi.
and i dunno wat clutch i have, but its one which takes alot of effort to push..lols

another way of asking is....wen u gun it, does ur tacho fly all the way to redline but the car just isnt moving, lol

errr nar, clutch doesnt slip. im just usally doing burnouts if i do that due to cheap tires..

looks like you need a clutch adjustment, where the your adjust the clutch pedal to release or engage at a point in the pedal travel.

people generally adjust the pedal travel because like in your case the friction point is not suited to you, clutch is wearing out so the friction point changes, shifting issues.

cos i heard the dc4's clutch are hydrolic, therefore isnt possibkle to adjust? or did i hear wrong?

my friction point is like almost having my foot off the clutch...

if i try to gun it in 1st my car shakes like crazy...

many corolla sportivos has shifting issues which were resolved by a clutch pedal adjustment done by the deal.

corolla sportivos also have a hydraulic clutch also, on the sportivo there are two adjustments that can be done ,there is a pedal height adjustment, and an adjustment on the rod from the master cylinder. For the fix, all they needed to adjust was the rod from the master cylinder.

i'm not 100% sure if the dc4 is structured in the same way but it must be quite similar.
