hey guys, Ive got a 96 Honda accord with a h22a. Its got climate control as well. What happens is when i turn the a/c on there is no cold air going through the vents. I've got it checked and the a/c compressor works and there is still gas in the system. One of the a/c pipes becomes frosty cold as well when the a/c is on but there no cold air goes to the vents. Can somebody help me?

If you are positive that there is the correct amount of gas in the system and everything appears to be in order, possibly a faulty evaporator temp sensor.
check the pipe inside the cabin that they link up. Might have a diconnected pipe.
Other thing might be a blockage in the pipes
the only pipes are in the bay, from there it goes to the tx valve.
i say, your tx valve is ****ed.
Oh yeah that, check that your cabin switch can move the TX valve, could be the wire may have fallen off the TX valve connector
TX valve is the one where the temp switch in the cabin moves lef to right when u switch from hot to cold right? If so, then that is working. Ive also tried moving that manually by hand and the cold air still doesnt get into the vents.
Had a mechanic check the gas level and compressor and he said it was fine... the pipe that goes to the front bumper (in front of the radiator) is cold BUT the pipe that continues from there is just warm... is that where the evaporatour temp sensor is located?
Is the compressor actually engaging and staying on or cutting out?
By the sounds of it your TX Valve is doing its part.

his pipes aren't becuase it's getting cold
TX valve is where the 2 a/c pipes go to the firewall, where the pipes go into is the tx valve

definitely sounds like the TX valve.
Mine was half blocked and the air temp blowing through the vents was 18 deg. (Barely cool) but all working.
Pretty major job to get the TX valve replaced. Degas, remove evaporator from housing under passenger glovebox (pain in ass), replace TX valve, put back together, regas and check.
yo, i got the same problem as you mention at the start, fan and everything working but no cold air...
when i bring it into my machanic, turn up to be wiring problem, one of the wire at the aircon fan disconnected for some reason ..
after reconnect the wire, the aircon now is working properly.
Hm...I might have the same problem...I have a family Mazda and Fans are engaging as soon as I turn AirCon on. With my Accord that is not the case...is that indicating anything???
